Because the Ring is just a boxing magazine and is not a real belt. Plus each fight is sanctioned by one of the four recognised belts and they sure arn't going to give any credibility to a rival. Can't remember who it was now but one boxer was stripped of his WBC title a fews years back because he came into the ring with his WBC and IBO belts on show and the WBC didn't recognise the IBO as a legitimate organisation.
Finally if the Ring did become a real belt it would just end up like all the others.
That's BS, the ring has been handing out ring belts forever! It is the only belt that the fighters don't have to pay any fees to have!!! The ring was the 1st to create ranking of fighters & IMO their championship belts are more real than the paper alphabet groups!

Yes but they arn't an official organisation no matter how long they have been doing it. If the belt's became recognised as real titles then the Ring magazine would no longer be impartial. Keep them the way they are.

I agree that that it should be kept the way it is but the Ring belt should be recognized more so because of the reason that they receive no financial gain. They change nothing to look at their web site ratings so essentially do things for the betterment of the game!
The problem with the organizations is anyone with enough money can start their own one. I my eyes theres nothing "official" about these organizations at all!!!

Well one solution would be a federal commission that had its own belt but used the Ring rankings...that way they have their own sanctions, but with a objective impartial ranking system...much like American College Football.
