True, but I was not hinting the national broadcast but the generel attention a boxer gets.

I always thought of B.A.D as a show for younger fighters so exciting or not,my point was it would have been better served to have some younger fighters on show. BTW,David Estrada won by stoppage yesterday and said he's going to beat on Berto,what do you guys think?

We have a big media market and they need to write stuff, if it comes off as hype...well thats sells tickets.Peter Plys can hopefully decipher the fluff from the facts. I take it the English dont hype Hatton Khan or Calzaghe..Aussies dont hype Mundine and Katsidis, even Green for that matter.Its the same for every country tha has a decent amount of media coverage. American's have the least biased commentaries in the world imo. You will never hear Max Kellerman cheer for Floyd when he fights Ricky Hatton but every single UK commentator will be 100% behind the hitman. I'll never forget Harry Carpenter when Bruno fought Tyson for the first time and staggered him. Carpenter yelled 'Get in there Frank!!!!!!!!' at the top of his lungs!
America by vrtue of being the Mecca of boxing has to show more impartiality but of course they are going to be most interested in their own fighters, and that's just the way it should be.

I think thats a great match for Andre berto. Estrada's got a big mouth but he's got balls and he can fight. It'll be a good competitive fight for Berto.

It was a decent fight,better than I expected but still nothing great. A good performance by Vernon but Baldo is just so limited,it's ridiculous.

1998 was 7 years ago. And this does mean something since Forrest, who was an impressive fighter until the injury, is looking pretty good.

That's bull, at least on Sky Sports anyway, you'll always hear Jim Watt telling it like it is, his commentary on Hatton v Tszyu for example was 100% impartial, but John Rawling, Duke McKenzie and Barry McGuigan, fuck me they don't half talk some bollocks.
