Re: Looking Back At Tszyu- Hatton
Same again Third Man, Ricky will most likely give the performance of his career, will it be enough ... who knowes, you cant knock an unbeaten fighter, and that goes to both.... :)
But on hearing that the Hatton camp (Billy G) intend to be fighting, come fight time as a light welter (Even tho its officially at welter) as they feel hes a better fighter at that weight and there correct for me at least in the assumption, but to give half a stone is a big ask ... not impossible, but a big big ask, they feel frame wise there ain't much size difference....crazy but true, :end:

But he wont be giving 7lbs?? Mayweather fights around 150 on fight night at Welterweight, Hatton could weigh in at 140 and still be the bigger man come fight night???
Re: Looking Back At Tszyu- Hatton
I feel you miss my point, Its the intention for Hatton not to carry the extra weight as they feel there best chance is with Rick not carrying extra poundage as they know he fights better without it, also with Rick its a discipline thing he has to work his bollox off to make lite welter and trains that hard and disciplined that come fight time hes ready and fit enough and ready to burst, he ain't the same animal without that discipline and gaining weight and carrying it well ain't always that easy, and has he done anything at Welter Collazo fight apart, where Rick said post fight himself said that he felt the extra power of his opponent at welter weight,
So back to the original point Hattons camp intend giving weight away so it could easy see half stone difference if thats what they intend, that way hes at his hungriest fastest and meanest, thats the intention... :boxingmatch:

Sorry mate i dont understand what you mean?? Hattons camp are training as if it was a 140lb fight because Mayweather comes in on fight night as a Light Welterweight, if this was a fight with say Cotto or Williams, they wouldnt of took the fight, its simple mate they took this fight because Hatton will be fighting a Light Welterweight in reality Mayweather has not been over 150lbs on fight night since he fought at 147, a normal fully fledge Welterweight comes in around 160-165 on fight night, henase the reason Hatton deosnt need to worry about fighting a bigger guy, come fight night they will be around the same weight id say about 150, Mayweather doesnt dehydrate to make weight.
Re: Looking Back At Tszyu- Hatton
Sorry bud my fault and I see what you mean,
I suppose what I was saying was more on how they feel Rick fights best weight wise, and not about what Mayweather will weigh ....more to do with how Hatton is a better fighter without carrying the extra weight hes allowed to should he so choose to do being at welter. . hope that helps bud. :)

Re: Looking Back At Tszyu- Hatton
Cheers bud and thanks for being patient and sticking with it, I just read it all back and confused myself lol,
Either way its gonna be interesting as Ricky ain't ever faced anyone like Mayweather, but I feel its fair to say that Mayweather hasn't ever come across anyone like Rick either...
My heart wants Rick but my head says Floyd, why I cant even answer, and ill cool click ya back for ya patience when Ive found my way around and know how to lol, ???
Re: Looking Back At Tszyu- Hatton
When it's all said and done, Hatton and Mayweather will be 147 on the scales, and either one of them will weigh no more than 154lbs in the ring. Weight isn't the issue. It's all about the fighters.
