Israel Vasquez underrated?

Vazquez and Marquez are definitely under rated. Vazquez has some great wins,an amazing trilogy with Oscar Larios and now wins over Jhonny Gonzalez and Rafa Marquez. Both should be close to each other in P4P lists and no lower than top 10 imo.

I think it's because people don't watch the smaller guys fight,which is foolish and their own loss because if you know your boxing,you know ALOT of FOTY candidates come from these smaller guys.The stadium at thir rematch was embaressingly empty and I think I recall Gary Shaw saying it was the last time he would be holding an even there.

I have heard the final match in their trilogy will be held in Mexico!!!

sometimes, a fighter needs to prove through winning more fights convincingly before he is rated properly.almost every fighter undergoes this way of rating.

I think he's underrated. I mean even just with the Marquez fight, in hindsight, I wrote him off way too quickly. I mean it wasn't like he was dominated in the first fight, he was the only to score a KD and I thought he was coming on a bit before the ending. But I didn't give him that great of a chance in the second fight, just wrote him off too quickly.

Vazquez is top 10 p4p no doubt. He's a monster.
