I dont go outside because its too hot and I dont sleep because its too muggy and when I use the air con it just upsets my eardrums with its steady hum.

Im a Brit too!!
I used to always complain about the British weather but never again. I truly love the English climate.
The Korean climate is a demon though. The summers are humid and hot and then the winters are really cold. Much colder than UK in winter and much hotter in summer. I prefer winter to summer though.
There are 2 weeks in spring that I do love and also a couple of weeks in Autumn too.
I couldnt sleep again last night and Im walking around like a zombie today!! Summer cant last forever. Surely. ???
