So which is your favorite of the bunch so far?
Vote and let us know why.
I've let the poll to run until the end of the year as KO's happen I'll try my best and upload or find videos of the KO's. You can also vote now and if another KO is added I made it so you can change your vote. So if so far let's say you like the Lee KO you can vote for him now and then if another KO happens and is added to the list you can change your vote.

Oh! yeah also the Solis KO over Mayol is freshly uploaded by yours truly. ;)
Thats cool Mick how you added youtube videos in the voting option.
Anyway im going with Wilson over Nwodo that last shot it looked like he had been shot his whole body just went lifeless.
CC#1175 ICB, thanks for taking the time to vote. :)
Re: < Vote for: Knockout Of The Year > (So far)
CC for taking the time to put teh vids up.We should do awards at the end of the year with lots of categories and lots of clips!
My personal choice would be Nonito v Vic. As most know,I am not too fond of Vic and that KO was just awesome.
Re: < Vote for: Knockout Of The Year > (So far)
I'm gonna save my vote ;D
there all pretty good. we should dub Lee as the "showstopper" the way he already knew the guy was out and lifted his hand in celebration that was like the Ali days. ;D
Cintron and Abraham k.o's were freaking brutal, they land flush and drop their oppenents like a heavy bag of dead meat.
Wilson's k.o started of sloppy so I don't like it as much, the left hook look good though.
Solis and Nonito both caught their oppenents coming forward, solis with a 1-2 finish and Nonito with just one greatly time left hook.
Thier all good so i'm going to save my vote for now ;D
Re: < Vote for: Knockout Of The Year > (So far)
hey we should vote best right hook, best left hook or body punch and any kind of k.o punch. Then we could pick best k.o from the winners of best type of k.o punch.
I got to give the best right hook to Lee (I'm leaning a lot more towards this as my vote for best k.o.)
I got to give best over hand to Solis
I give best left hook to Nonito
Ooh best body shot I'll have to give to penalosa ;D

Re: < Vote for: Knockout Of The Year > (So far)
Good poll CutMeMick so many to choose from.
My own favourite was the Abraham one, probably for two reasons. Firstly because apart from the Donaire KO of Darchinyan it was only one I didn't know about in advance so it had real :o factor to it, and secondly just because of the brutal nature in which he fell.
It was like watching an execution, if he'd have been shot in the head he couldn't have fallen any sweeter than that. The way his eyes lolled as well as he fell back just added to the sheer brutality.
One of my favourite KO's of all time 8)

Hatton wins best body shot surely, KO'ing Castillo, a fighter never put down was a better feat than Ko'ing a guy who got ruined in his last fight and whose toughness has always been in doubt,

It was very similar to the Abraham one, but I think Abrahams was better for a) being a world title fight, and b) being a one punch KO, in the Wilson fight the guy was already out on his feet and would have gone down on any punch, Abraham stopped his man with a single shot.
Re: < Vote for: Knockout Of The Year > (So far)
hehehe. The guy was running already and Wilson came after him. That was brutal for me. ;D

yea I forgot about the hatton castillo fight this year. Can anyone post a vid I want to take another look, but penalosa wins body shot for me at this time until I get another look at the hatton body shot.
Re: < Vote for: Knockout Of The Year > (So far)
i voted Abraham
purely for the way the guy went down and seemed to sit there for an age
i agree with bilbo
the wilson knockout
any punch could have ended that fight he was running around all over place
Re: < Vote for: Knockout Of The Year > (So far)
There had been so many knockouts this year. What's the criteria for selecting the best knock out of the year. If I may suggest, criteria should be laid out before the voting. O0
Re: < Vote for: Knockout Of The Year > (So far)
CC for embedding the videos Mick....Makes voting easier....
I went with Cintron....He was not only spectacular at the KO but the whole fight as well

Re: < Vote for: Knockout Of The Year > (So far)
I'm going with Abraham over Ghevor so far this year. He had that Joey Gamache look on his face when he got knocked out by Arturo Gatti. Than he falls to his knees with them bent back before falling to the canvas. Looked less like a KO and more like a Mortal Combat fatality.
Lee vs. Daniels was sweet but not so much for the KO but the way Lee was already taking his victory walk before his opponent even hit the canvas.
