He comes back with a win. Impressive?
I don't know his opponent. That win is not impressive for me.

Hopkins is supposed to be retired
ODLH is supposed to be retired
Trinidad is supposed to be retired
The word retired in boxing is as applicable as the word humble to Naseem Hamed.
Impressive or not its a win, perhaps had he lost one could deem him a joke or a fraud. But to step into the ring, win and then be deemed a joke, i dont feel thats fair on Tua or any fighter making an effort in our sport.
Okay, i stand corrected. But that was just my honest opinion man. Think i deserve to say my opinion once in a while. O0Quote:

Thank you for the CC daxx.
hitmandonny here's my beef with David Tua....he says he's retired then he comes back but he only half assed comes back fighting BUMS.
The last contender he fought was HASIM RAHMAN and that was YEARS AGO!!!!
He couldn't do better now than he did in the late 90's and early 2000's....he has peaked and if he fought a top level guy he'd lose.
He has not taken his career seriously since the Rahman fight....maybe he could have won a belt or gotten a huge payday but he doesn't try to achieve anything he just tries to get fights and win.
He's a freakshow, no different than Tyson or Holyfield or Mesi.
He should AT LEAST fight a guy like Shannon Briggs
You say Rahman struggled against mediocre opponent but didn't Tua go 10 rounds with mediocre opponent aswell only winning a closish decision in the fight before his last one ??Quote:

Sounds like he's been reading the Audley Harrison book on how to guide your career ;)Quote:

He's doing the sensible thing and getting a few fights underr his belt.
I think Tua can win a World title - it's not as if the champions are upto much and the lack of real contenders is shocking.

one loss for tua and he will be written off. He needs to fight guys that he can beat so he can get meaningful fights. hes too old to start at the bottom of the ladder again.
