Someone give Cutmemick a CC as the Nelson v Cowdell one is one of my favourite knockouts.
Hamed also got floored by Daniel Alicea before KOing Alicea later on. Think it might have been the 2nd round.
Thanks everyone for your input. I can't believe I was drawing a total blank. After reading the answers I remembered actually watching a few of those fights. (How sad it is to grow old and forgetful).
Now, back to looking up names you all have given me.
Emile Griffith, ny Reuben Carter, just days before he appeared to accept "Fighter of the Year" honors in Pittsburh, leading to his classic line "Something funny happened to me on the way to Pittsburgh..."
Lots of great fighters got ko'd early, early in their careers. Benny Leonard (ko3), Henry Armstrong (ko3) and Alexis Argeullo (ko2) come to mind. I know there are many more Hall of Famers that had one round ko losses but I don't have my book and my memory fails me.
