Ponce De Leon back on the 28th Spetember

Woah! You guys need to give Ponce a break. His resume is getting better and better with each fight,he takes one fight off and everyone starts jumping on him! There are plenty of other "champions" out there with lesser resumes,lesser activity,they should be criticised.

The BoomBoom fight was exected to be super tough(although obviously it wasn't).Ponce could have said,I'll take the year off but no,he's staying active. There is plenty of time for a rematch with Celestine and Penelosa,with rumours f;ying around that he'll be fighting Gerry in the Phillipines by the end of the year,that'll be 4 fights this year,3 big ones. You cannot ask much more from a champion,he can't fight guys of Gerry's class EVERY fight! No-one can!

Mijares had no trouble with him so I think De Leon should blow him out

How about Penalosa in Mexico for a change? I've never seen any pinoy fights in Mexico.
