A grizzly could probably take out a lion or a tiger let alone a freaking gorilla.
Polar bears are the largest carnivore on land and weigh twice the weight of an adult tiger. Brown bears are around 10 feet tall and weigh about 1500 lbs waaaaay over the 600 lbs that someone posted earlier.
Polar bears are the only creature on earth who actually hunt humans, they are absolutely lethal.
If you saw a full grown grizzly, kodiac or polar bear next to a silverback gorilla it would just be a laughable mismatch.
If you knew anything about nature you'd know this is as absurd a question as who wins between a prime Mike Tyson and a prime Tom Hanks, it's just absolutely idiotic to think that a gorilla would stand even the remotest of chances against a full sized bear.

Grizzley, polar and kodiak bears are close in size... in fact the brown bear, aka grizzly/kodiak they are different types of brown bears, outweighs the polar bear....so the bear whup gorilla easily...unless said bear is the sun bear which is only the size of a large dog or the black bear which gets up to 600 lbs....Quote:
