Fair play Jeff. The bottom line is that boxing is no longer a priority to ESPN...and we can both agree that this is a shame. But they won't spend any money for fights anyway so I don't see the big deal.....they are corporate dicks with no love for the pugilist.
Fair enough,gentlemens agreement.There was a Time when espn was pure gold as far as boxing.Its just a slap to us fans which should come as no surprise.I do not know about weekly shows outside of the U.S but down here we had 3 solid shows that were pretty much EVERY week.USA tuesday night fights(they sold out for wrestling,dog shows And tennis),Fight night at the forum(some of the best talent in the last decade or so started there)& the last standing is ESPN ,now THat The NFL is There,thats the last nail in the coffin.They Could at least treat these fighters and fans with respect as they open the door for them.Quote:
