Re: Just watch Edwin Valero and............................
Valero is not all that good. He is an extremely heavy puncher but technically has a lot of flaws.
I think his power will be good for Barrera to be dealing with in sparring, but Barrera will box his ears off.
Pac is not the complete fighter but is far superior to Valero.
Re: Just watch Edwin Valero and............................
no way in hell that valero is like pac when he was young. just like you brucelee i used to watch pac on blow by blow, remember how quinito praise pac as the next big thing in pinoy boxing?! valero is more like a head hunter with a jungle bolo. pac is more like an overall hunter with a tiny knife stabbing his opponent to bits.

Hehe! Blow by blow. I used to watch that show too alot. I think they replaced the name of the show with "fist-o-rama". Too many southpaw fighters in that show... I don't know why.
Re: Just watch Edwin Valero and............................
Valero's got a puncher's chance but other than that I don't see much there.
Can't stand watching him fight, such a limited fighter. A fight with Pac would not be a good move.
Re: Just watch Edwin Valero and............................
A fighter like him, even with his limited skills, I think is more potentially dangerous guy for pac than a skilled fighter with lesser punches. We've all seen how pac gets hits squarely in his head over and over, and I think it just takes couple of those, yup, just 1 or 2 of them, making a bullseye squarely on the head to do the job. I've seen some signs of wear-and-tear on pac lately so naturally I'm getting a bit concerned. I think Emmanuel Stewart is right, fighter like him doesn't last long and I think he should be ready to retire before his 31st birthday.

Very true Penalosafan. Guys like Barrera and Morales would have little chance against Pacman. Their so called "sweet science" in boxing won't work with Pacquaio.
I believe the only guy who has a high probability of stopping Pacquaio in the future is Valero. This may be is the reason why the Valero camp is ducking Pacquiao now. They wanted Valero to be really prepared.

Exactly. I thing pac guys shouldn't give Valero too much time, though, cuz pac isn't getting any younger anymore. They should offer Valero's camp an offer they couldn't resist soon so they can fight him when pac is still in his prime.

Broad strong shoulders and so strong at the weight, he is kinda exciting but i personally think PACMAN would KO him quickly as he would be to fast for him.
What do you guys think of the comparison Valero and Galaxy ?
Any other fighter you can think of who are similer in styles ?
Pac would not be able to knock out Galaxy quickly. So how can Valero remind you of him?

i dont think he will have a long reign at the top .
