It was surprising how both Curry and Honeyghan faded so fast what happened to the Curry that almost decapitated McCrory with one of the quickest left hooks i've ever seen and what happened to Honeyghan who gave such a masterclass on Curry ??

Than why did Honeyghan refuse to rematch Curry at 154? There's no doubt a Curry rematch would of paid him more than what he got against Johnny Bumphus. But Honeyghan flat refused.

Very true indeed. People were SERIOUSLY talking about Curry dethroning the Marvelous One. Seems ridiculous nowadays.
Curry was such a great, wonderful fighter in his prime but the Honeyghan beating took a lot out of him. I know that some (VD) feel that Curry lost because he was weight drained but you also have to factor in he underestimated Lloyd. There was a lot to the build up in that fight. Honey was a tough Jamaican/South London boy who wasn't going to be denied that night. He also bet his purse on a win so you KNOW he was well up for it.

According to my deal with Saddo, I'm not allowed to put posters with less than 100 posts in there place. Once there over 100 there fair game. Plus I'm not picking on them. I'm just correcting the error of there ways. slk123 and Lacy are not new posters. There below mediocre, but not new.

Honeyghan injured is right hand blasting the mad dog in round one and the BBC commentators always mentioned it during his fights and Lloyd said it did play on his mind and thus effected his style of fighting. I believe the 86 version would have beaten both Breland and Starling but not a peak Curry he was something special. I could watch Curry fight all day his style was so efficient and effective.

When he unified the titles including beating Marlon Starling twice. It is just an opinion and Honeyghan beat the fighter that was put in front of him, so I would not expect him to say I will take it easy on you as you look to be very tight at the weight. Honeyghan ripped it from him and credit to him for doing that.
