Yeah healing time of bones is about 6 to 8 weeks. dunno if its the same for hands tho. He could have been fighting within 4 months, altho it'd be dam risky, there'd have to be some damage to the bone still.Quote:

i can't find the fight anywhere on the net. None of the places have it. i tried world boxing video archive but not one seed.
It was badly damaged I believe. His performance level dropped considerably in the later tounds, which is quite unlike him because his stamina is one of his best attributes. As for fighting 4 months later, this was the start of string below par performances from him including the Thornberry and Starie fights, so maybe the injury was still lingering, and maybe afterwards is why he started to pull out fights rather than fight carrying an injury. I'm just speculating.
He had to rematch him or he wuold have been stripped of his title. Believe it or not Veit was number 1 contender at the time.Quote:
