One of the reasons I really respect Ricky Hatton for is having the balls to go to the US and fight the best. 3 world champs at two different weights in his last four fights for Hatton and one unification bout and he won them all. Joe is a joke mate just accept it, yes he's got talent but it's wasted British talent. Where is Calzaghe-Ottke at least Hatton fought Kostya Tszyu the main one in his division no matter how old he was because 7 months earlier he knocked out Sharma Mitchell in 3 so he couldn't of been that much past it.
But then again your Welsh so whatever I or anyone else says there will always be a reason in your eyes why JC is great.
The thing is my fellow LEFTY look on boxrc at the challangers he has fought and click on there record after , fact is they bombed and lost many fights after without ever reaching world class again , kinda sums it up doesnt it :)

That leaves, lets see, Roy jones jr? one name who no one can say for certain as to why it didn't happen, Roy was offered more than 5.5mil for the fight but its to hard to find the detials for that, and if you want to base hate on the fact there was one name he didn't fight than you full of shit, coz there are alot more names that people will say hopkins and roy should of fought yet love them for it...

Reid had got outboxed by 40+ Sugar Boy Malinga just before the Calzaghe fight and was not really considered a threat and i think if Reid wouldn't of had point deduction he would of won the fight on my card why wasn't there rematch ??
Brewer was a former world champion who was past his best just before Calzaghe fight he had been KTFO by Autwun Echols in 3 rounds Brewer had a suspect chin and Calzaghe couldn't even stop him hell even 38 year old well past his best Graham who was feather fisted had Brewer on the canvas twice yet Calzaghe hit him with his best shots and was never close to stopping him.

Jones was at Lightheavyweight before Calzaghe even won the title so your telling me that the P4P number 1 fighter has to accept to drop down in weight and fight over in UK and i assume its UK because Calzaghe wouldn't go to USA and Jones has to do all this against a fighter who was not even known in USA ?? get real.
