I agree. Pavilk is a strong fighter. Good fighter. Fun to watch. But his chin is not strong. It ain't glass. But it's not strong. I don't understand why people are having such a hard time accepting that.

Kelly brought it on himself and almost lost his opportunity... Kelly has an Helacious good chin, most fighters wouldnt have been able to continue... Not to mention he took the best Edison Miranda had to offer and never waivered and Miranda is considered PFP one of the best punchers and certainly has more power than Taylor
CC#758 on me JT for mentioning this I brought this up on the Rd. by Rd. thread the other day. See below....

I mean Pavlik showed his inexperience there when he started sticking out his toungue and trying to mock Taylor, he got away with it the 1st time but then the 2nd time as he had began to make his taunt at Taylor...... BAM!! lights out he got cracked and hurt and dropped. For the fight I was rooting for Pavlik I was hoping he'd spark out Taylor but in that 2nd round when he started fucking around it got me pissed off I mean what the fuck are you doing? Your in the single most important fight of your whole career and your up there acting like an idiot fucking around. This level of fighters at this stages are no longer the Zertuches, Zunigas or Mc Karts this is World Class Championship level. You've come along all this way to start sticking your fucking toungue out?
I was telling my friends I said if Pavlik looses this fight by decision it will all ride on that one round, he would have no one to blame but himself for doing something so stupid that almost cost him the fight. I bet you his whole career flashed before his eyes when he went down.

Re: The detail that most people are missing with the Knockdown..
Another thing most people are missing about the knockdown was the effect it had on Taylor.
Taylor hurt him, threw a lot of punches in an attempt to finish him and by the round's closure it was Taylor initiating the holding as if trying to grab a break. JT's engine needs a bigger fuel tank.

No. He did that in the first round. I think it was the 5th when JT hit him with a couple decent shots, Kelly just shock his head at him to let him know that he cought him a couple times. But he didn't make a face or stick out his tongue, :P
Re: The detail that most people are missing with the Knockdown..
All I know is Pavlik's dog "knocked dut dawg outta T-T-T-Taylor".
"I got dut dawg in me!"
Heh heh heh. Priceless.

NO, I disagree, at first yea I thought the same but when I rewatch it over and over I found out that there was a punch before when pavlik tried to make a face that got him stunned.
If you watch before the time pavlik tries to make a face, j.t caught him with a punch and sequels of punches that hurted him then after he avoid the last sequel of punches thats when he tries to makes a face and is caught again, but that time he couldn't shake it off sending him to the canvas.

His chin is strong enough. Taylor has the bad chin cus he got knocked the phuk out. Kelly didn't. And Kelly jumped right back up. He never tried to run, he kept coming forward. His chin is good enough. IMO
Re: The detail that most people are missing with the Knockdown..
IT LOOKED LIKE A NICE LITTLE REMINDER TO TAYLOR THAT KELLY HAS A GOOD CHIN
Re: The detail that most people are missing with the Knockdown..
IMO Kelly has a strong chin. Maybe not legendary, but certainly up there with the top chins in the sport today.

You are wrong. You are just a hater that is in denial. Pavlik has a weak chin. That is a farce statement. Miranda nailed him. Taylor nailed him more time in the knock down that Pavlik nailed him so that means Taylor has a weak chin too. Taylor landed more and couldn't beat him. Quit hating you are not making any sense.
