Is Mayweather-Pacquaio possible?

I'd say it is possible if the sircumstances were right. But it just won't happend. Why?

Both guys have bigger and batter fish to fry.

Mayweather: Hatton, Cotto/Mosley, Williams and just a red hot WW division if he chooses to stay and clean house. Look at the flack he got for choosing to fight a 140 lber and multiply that by 10 if he chose to fight a 130-135 lber.

Paquiao: Marquez, Guzman, Diaz, Diaz and...Diaz. Anything over 135 will start to be a problem.

Assuming we had a series of miraculous events and this fight actually become a reality. I think Floyd can eassilly make 140 still and PACMAN could just train as if it was a 135 bout. As was said before, size is rarelly an issue when fighting Mayweather.

I also think Pacman would do a great job and I would give him a better shot than I give Hatton next December.

It's funny how something can be observed at one stage, and now it's totally different.. No one apart from Taeth starting the thread was able to imagine Pac going over 135.. How it's hard to picture him going back there for much...

Manny fighting Floyd at 147 is a much more feasible fight than Manny fighting Oscar at 147. Floyd's MUCH closer to Manny's size than Oscar is. I think at this point though, Manny should fight Hatton. If he wins, HBO will make the Floyd-Pac fight happen in the fall next year.
