y'know announcing posts as sarcastic kinda misses the point of them being sarcastic.
Sarcasm is very much a british thing, and people from other countries (no names mentioned) often don't get it, so it's like the "May Contain Nuts" warning on a pack of peanuts. Slightly obvious, but necessary.
Missy is right rhun, the smiley defeats the purpose. It's not necessarily a bad thing if someone don't get it ;)
I think Rhun was the main campaigner for the Sarcasm smiley ;D
It has its uses. Some times its just better to get past the smarminess ;)
Oh was he ;D
Great idea that rhun.

Yes, I was. And I succeeded, so I'm an advocate of it being used at all times, even when its inappropriate. Or even using the sarcasm smiley sarcastically, such as:
That Fenster's a horrible moaner you know :Sarcasm: ;)

Hmm..are we venturing into some kind of reverse sarcasm now?
Surely you need a TRUTH not sarcasm one for that ;)

Having championed the :Sarcasm: campaign successfully, I'll allow you the glory of this one. ;)

You made an important thread? Was I there? Were there witnesses? What next....VD being nice to someone and ICE writing in fully formed sentences and paragraphs?
Re: Wayne McCullough to fight Kiko Martinez!
McCullough doesn't know when to quit. He's going to try and box his way to a win over Martinez to set up a huge moneyspinner against Dunne once Dunne has returned and knocked over some tomato can . We know Martinez has tons of power, but will he be able to land it against someone with a bit of defensive ability?

Walking through hell isn't really defensive ability :D

I agree Donny. Not saying that Wayne will win - I think he should retire and focus on his other work - but how is Kiki going to feel if McCulloch is still in his face after the halfway mark...

Yeah we're thinking along the same lines. McCullough showed some serious signs of slipping before his layoff, i'm not sure he can stay up anymore, but if he does and he's in good shape he could make it incredibly difficult on the spaniard.
Re: Wayne McCullough to fight Kiko Martinez!
What has Mccullough done recently to get a shot? Its not on in my view. He has done nothing for ages and gets a European title shot. I am surprised that this fight is getting sanctioned.

1)They had problems getting it sanctioned.
2)Its not for the EBU title.
3)How could McCullough do anything lately, when he's been retired?
Did u read about it at all?
Re: Wayne McCullough to fight Kiko Martinez!
Im probably alone in this, but I dont think Wayne McCullough ws ever a great fighter. He was average but very overrated for some reason. He was never immpressive in a title fight even as champion though he had heart he lacked skill imo. Dont get me wrong, I do respect him as a fighter though.
