Its a hard thing to do to a boxer,A forced retirment.I agree but you have to ask yourself where do you draw the line. Its done for other medical reasons.
this reminds me of others in same prediction like Lamar Parks.A very talented Middleweight in early 90's . Ruben Palacious RIP,In early 93?? was forced to relinguish his title and retire when it was Discovered he had aids .......sorry to be a downer but this shi! is sad and Real........Dejesus also

Ah you mean the frogger title! It's bizarre I havn't played it in over 4 months and today I got credited with winning it ??? :P ;D
It's happened to me before actually. There is no next level if you get past the first one and whenver anybody does it for some reason I get the trophy, only for it to be taken back off me again at a later date :-\
I've given up wondering why......

Are you sure Lamar is deceased?
Re: Another Veteren Heavyweight with AIDS still fighting
I'm pretty sure there can be "false positives" but not "false negatives". Tommy Morrison was diagnosed in the '90s and has since tested negative therefore, no reason to keep him from fighting.

Probably not such a thing as a false negative but there's certainly such a thing as fake doctor's reports and swapping of blood samples :-\

Hahaha..my kind of humour!
Who the fuck in their right mind, with any type of conscience, would let a guy with aids fight in a bloodsport like boxing? Should be illegal..surely?
Do their opponents know that they have aids?? I'd pull out of that fight quicker than Calzaghe with a hand problem!!

THe article said that they were not releasing the fighters name because the NJ athletic commision had not yet gone public with the fighters name.
But I thought it was kind of funny too- that they give you enough information to figure it out. I am not sure why they did that.

I really hope the commissions would keep themselves from being fooled by that type of crap. Especially when someone had already tested positive before. Don't they make people like that take a test before every fight? I'd hate to think that they would risk the health of other fighters by being too lazy to check thoroughly.

sick sick man
OK whos turn was it to give Bilbo his Meds???
Ah come on as if that wasn't the first thing that sprung to everybody's minds :P
I think it was the way that it was phrased comparing Sample and Morrison that made it such an obvious joke. I'm with you Bilbs, that joke was there to be made, and you were just the first to swing for the stands with it.
