Totally disagree with the outcome & the statement.Quote:

Also...Winky NEVER tires.
he tired in the hopkins fight but that was to do with weight of course.Quote:

so yeah he does tire
I agree at this stage ,. Pavlik is huge for a Middleweight 6'2 one hell of a reach . fast hands , accurate punches. fights well inside and out. This kids is always punching and thinking offense , also like the way he handles adversity. you find out about a fighter in time of distress. also Kelly have youth on his side.Quote:

Styles make fights.. this is bad match for the 35 year old wright, especially in a weight class he really don't belong in.
Listen comparing vargas power and Trinada power to Kelly is stupid they were strong fighters but in a lower weight class that is why Trinada should of never gone to middle weight in his biggest wins Wright was always the bigger man Trinidad started at welter and Shane was a lightweight and should of never been in Light middleweight Quarty i thin started in a lower weight as well Winkey would lose this one i have no doubt in my mind Kelly power and reach not mention his work out would be to much either way i see it 11 or 12 round KO win for the Ghost Pavlik
I cannot see it going that way at all. Winky is too smart and defensive to fall into Pavlik's 1-2's. Pavlik will land yes, but Winky has much better defensive ability than Taylor has. I was also not overly impressed with Pavlik the way he handled adversity in the 2nd round against Taylor. His arms were not protecting him and he was flailing like a puppet on strings while it's master was taking a seizure. He was one punch away from getting knocked out and he would not take a knee to buy time. It was Taylor's lack of finishing ability that saved him.Quote:

Well i guess we have to see but if they do fight i will be betting on Pavlik because he has everything going for him at the moment and Winky is 1-1-1 and getting old and as far as comparing them i only have one fighter they both fought and that was Taylor and we all know how both fights went but then you can say styles make fights but Winky style i do not feel would be much of a problem and still see a stoppage late for Pavlik but hey thats just what i think i not saying your wrong and i am right just saying that is the way i see it and we can only know for sure when they actual fight
Plus Winky has not had much success above middle weight and Pavlik has done great because it is his division another thing to add
I like wright via close dec.Alot of pavliks awesome arsenal can also prove to be his weak links.I see Pavlik as an offensive master,Long jab combined with long power, desent mobility on feet ,tremendous heart of a spartan and a pretty solid chin with alot of CONFIDENCE.I really think he breathes new life into the Middleweight division, life into boxing in general for that matter. When he got up against Taylor,It began the 2nd stage of his career. The ONLY thing I'll say in the "IF" catagory is that had Taylor not started flailing away like an absolute amatuer and pretty much gas out.....that round MIGHT have been the last?
I saw Wright In the Hopkins and Taylor fights really disregard his tactical defense in conjuction with a high punchrate. He really got away from what he Is all about and one of the best at....Sharp Jabs,Very good hand speed(underated body work Imo) almost a flat footed apperence with a deliberate step forward but that freakish arm/shoulder/elbow use as effective def.He started thinking he had to force a fight and be an equal aggressor to win when he is best as an effective short counter puncher with good side to side skill. His chin Is Concrete..Save that 5 knockdown fiasco vs.J.C Vasquez!
Hey,Its the friday night...Maybe I started tipping Em'back to soon but In what could be A great fight I think Wright Re-tools and gets back to Da skills Necessary to topple a Young-Blood like Pavlik.Pavlik Is A force that demands respect no doubt and a really cool dude but I think the "old"man can school him.
Well he got a break against the guy on contenderQuote:

He's more physically imposing and as we've seen from the Taylor/Miranda fights, you're going to need some serious arsenal to keep Pavlik off you. I don't think Winky has that. Also, the blueprint to beat Winky was laid out by Vargas,he constantly banged Winky to the body, lowered his arms and the fired shots up top, racking up points. Kelly can do the same. Kelly wins this fight for me.
Also,Winky had a close fight with JT,whenever Taylor was in trouble,he would fire some shots and that would back Winky up. Pavlik would be firing shots from the start, initiating the action. Winky would have no answer to the power. I don't think I'd pick against Pavlik unless it's someone awkward like Calzaghe. Winky is going to be standing in front of Kelly and I don't see him surviving.
I agree i thought Vargas vs Wright was a draw Winky has never been robbed the Harry Simon fight was also close.Quote:

Normally i would have picked Wright on points because of that air tight defense and he stepped his offense up lately, but that stinky ass performance he put up against B-hop i might i have to change my vote to Pavlik on that one.
At 170 Winky looked tired that was too much weight for him to handle a guy like B-Hop and even I think he (Winky) won it by 1 point. If a fight with PAvlik is done I will like it to be @ 160.
