David Tua, kayoed former champs in Ruiz, Moorer, Rahman and Maskaev but himself never got a title :'(
I wish Tua becomes champ before he retires.
I find it amazing that David Tua never won an alphabet title. That's hard to do in todays sport.Quote:

I love his attitude, charisma, and his come forward style. I think he also demonstrated a good chin and a huge heart in the Pavlik fight.
i liked kirlaind laing too. on his day he had as much talent as anyone. pity he couldnt of been more consistent
Gerry mutha Fuggin Cooney O0
even though he might get one paul briggs
At HW, I would agree with you about Quarry, and add George Chuvalo, from the same era as Quarry, as favorite of mine. Fought Ali tough twice, beat Quarry and fought all the other greats of that generation. I loved Henry "Quick" Tillis, too.Quote:

Damn, I forgot about Chuvalo, my bad. And how could I forget my boy Ward. One of my favorites and ironic I left him out and put Augustus in when Ward/Augustus was a damn fun fight to watch. Thanks for reminding me :)Quote:

I'm a big Margarito fan, and I feel he's been jobbed out of big fight deals plenty of times. I still don't think he's had his chance at becoming the best (WB whO?). I do feel he didn't go all out in the 12th of the Williams fight. So I have to hold that against him and I hope he learns his lesson.
I just have to say it, there is no replacement for Erik Morales. :)
I remember I liked Kassim Ouma, he used to punch with authority and output like no other. Now he seems to just like the attention of just being in the ring.
Also, I hate it when I see young primising stars just getting crumbled by a vet. Sometimes I like it, most of the time I root for the "new order" of young boxers.
