Nobody is saying that Mora can beat Calzaghe and Kessler(by stoppage nonetheless)
because he beat Jermain Taylor who hasn't looked worse in his last few fights and looked some of the best he ever has against Pavlik.
Nobody really rates Mora that high anyway so how is he overrated?
Pavlik is a good fighter. But he is one of the most overrated now because he beat Jermain Taylor.

Yep. Pavlik's so overratted that for last 2-3 years he's been the #2 & #3 ranked challenger of the 160lb division...he's been ranked behind names like Wright, Miranda, & a few other "overratted challengers". He's Ring Magazine's Champion & is supposedly nominated for fighter of the year.
Considering that the fellar's spots he was set to challenge for during the last 2 years were Taylor, Wright, Sturm, Hopkins, & Abraham that makes him pretty far from being overratted...especially considering that he just crushed Taylor in 7 rounds the man that defeated Hopkins twice, defeated Sturm as an amatuer, & drew with Wright & also blasted out Miranda who was one of the most feared middles of recent date in 7...yeah...he's overratted.
HBO & Merchant have been talking about Pavlik's rise since 2003 & after injuries & the fact that no one else would face him...he's finally lived up to the hype. While there are some things about Pavlik that need to improve...he's a whole lot better for the sport than Taylor has been.
