And if I said Yes?
From what I have read lately, some of the posters here are under 30, and some are barely out of their teens.. Hence the title of the tread...
And No, I am not close to 120 years old.
Ummm...I don't wanna create a Civil war between the youthful and more "mature," posters, but there's a lot of young posters here that know their boxing just as well as any guy twice their age.
In addition, a lot of these guys are also currently competing and just because their young doesn't mean they no less of what happenend in the past.
Take Ice for example, one of his favourite boxers is Charlie Burley...
MagicMan/Tito knows his shit on all the old school stuff.
And as for myself, well I love the 50's Middleweights alttho i wasn't born till the late eighties.

As my Great Granpappy used to say, Son, your making a mountain out of a mole hill.
It is just a title to a thread, if it has offended anyone or has gotten their nose out of joint by being refered to as being "young", have the mods here delete/change it. Better yet, ask and I will delete it.

Good on them for getting in the ring.

Yeah, it's only a boxing forum after all, most of us take what we read on hear with a pinch of salt. Did someone ever bring you that baseball bat with a nail in it donny?
As for the long fights, that is just crazy....the fitness of those dudes must've been the sort fired by hard labour rather than hours in the gym. A fight the length of two baseball matches is just insane....even 15 rounds seems long these days. :p
