Nope im not kidding Mayweather moved up to a weight he has never fought at before and outboxed Oscar ok it was quite close but still great performance.

I just thought of this thread so i made it i know there are two more big fights coming up we can easily bump this thread when those fights are done.

I got Pavlik/Juan Diaz leading IMO the have both had great years....Cotto can upset them both with a win over Mosely tho. If Cotto wins you can write it in ink he will be fighter of the year.

Forgot about Oscar vs Floyd. That was a sweet one & it was definently a performance of the year.
This is also a post that is for personal opinion...or atleast I am assuming it is...it doesn't necessarily has to be majority rules.

I agree only with it is early to pick and held out because for some reason I think Mosley or Cotto is going to get the nod...
I have to say this though...If I were picking fighter of the year I would go with Pavlik....He made easy work of one of the sports most feared punchers then Won the MW title by KOing Taylor....
There have been just too many good performances to choose TBH
