To be honest i kinda know wot u mean Calzaghe does certain things that look just awful , ( i mean if we are to class him alongside of people like Hopkins / Mayweather etc)
he slaps to much and throws lots of punches when to close to his oponant so he looks awkward.
BUT there is no getting away from the fact he is very affective , so he gets some respect from my quarter , a fight with Hopkins isnt my cup of tea i must admit.
he doesnt blow hes awkward for my taste sorry Im coming off a bachelor party
I never thought he looks awkward.....i think he is just entertaining. due to his style he dosn't exactly KO people does he. But always comes up with a good fight.
He is just such a good boxer though most of his ko's are actually TKO's where the reff has no choice but to stop the fight because he is just landing punch after punch.
Accurate and fast, and as far as combination punching goes i think he is the very best in the world.
