Again, remind when the gyms open(and when my brain cell,ie Feur,is around),Ill give you a description of how we've allways done crunches, and she can probably describe how they do them at Fraziers Gym in Philly as well.
Feurs in her mid 30's,had a kid by C-section,and if you go to the body on her,all your going to get is bruised knuckles for your trouble. When we spar,I only go to the body to distract her,and keep her honest,I punch hard and outweigh her by quite a bit,but I know it isnt hurting her at all.
Re: I know the answer sounds obvious but.........
Never had a problem taking it to the body. But im slimmed down a lot this year, far less muscled so iribs are more vulnearable and stomach too i guess....
Wanna be fully ripped as well as i'm lookin very skinny at the moment although im not lacking in terms of power at all.

Feur used to be a heavily certified personal trainer, she only quit because there just isnt enough money in it,that and Yuppie pukes want to convince themselves theyre working out,but dont want any pain.
She has a very literal mind,if you tell her these are the results you want, she puts together a game plan to get you there.
Guess what?
That game plan is going to hurt
Before we'd even start lifting,I was doing 120 crunches as a warm up,then working the treadmill.
Youve never heard someone piss and moan like me on legs day
I freaking hate doing legs
But it works, even in my dottarage,my abs are still solid, actually for someone who spends most of his time yelling at other people to get in to shape,Im in pretty damned good shape myself

I mentioned a spot earlier in this thread,I dont care how big your pecs are, youll go down. There just isnt anything you can do but cover it.
As far as abs, everyone talks about a 6 Pack,it isnt that easy to achieve as they make it sound, but it can be done

I wasn't exactly implying pecs, i meant almost my...uhhh...meat i suppose...There was a lot more hard flesh intertwined with my ribs before than now.
And ya i want more definition on my stomach

You can work your various body parts to any extent that you desire, but when you throw a punch and miss you are vulnerable. Anybody will go if hit in thje right body part. Reference a fight i have on tape featuring Dickie ryan vs a former Mr Olympia. One-punch 2nd round ko via a liver shot.
