I think he meant in the p4p rankings and he's actually right in that regard. Most writers, magazines etc rank Calzaghe as a top 3 p4p in the world now whereas Ricky is usually around 8 or 9.
Hardly "well ahead" though is it? Ricky is one win away from leap frogging him.
Well given the ferocity of arguments that often develop on this site because one poster has someone a single place higher or lower than someone else who thinks his view is
completely and wildly innacurate I'd say a difference of 4 or 5 places is pretty high ;)

And saying that Ricky is just one win away from leapfrogging Calzaghe, when the man he has to get past is Floyd Mayweather is like saying that a homeless man is just one lottery ticket win away from being a multi millionaire ^-^
