To be the best in the world, you have to have fought and beat the best in the world and Floyd has not beat the best in the world. He never unified one division and he beat a bunch of old men who were on their last leg. Why do people get this all twisted. Floyd did something most men can't or won't dare try and that is move up in weights and that takes talent, TREMENDOUS talent. Nobody will argue that. To me he is a gifted athlete who got a few breaks based on the competion that was there at the time. To me, Floyd is one of the greatest defensive pugs the world has ever seen. If anything I'll go out on a limb and say Floyd wants this more than Ricky. Floyd is expected to win and has called Hatton every name in the book and he knows all the "experts" pick him to win and if he doesn't he'll almost be a laughing stock in alot of people's eyes. Rick is going into this fight knowing he is picked to lose and if he does there's no shame in it as everyone else has lost to Floyd. He'll get a huge payday and do whatever he's planning on doing if he loses. Ricky says he'll win, but he knows it's a tremendous task put in front of him and if he loses can say at least he tried. Floyd has alot more to lose in this fight than Ricky IMO.

that Floyd will run like Leonard did in Duran/Leonard 2. (I love Ray Leonard but he ran like a biatch against Duran in the second fight)
If Floyd does nothing more than run for 12 rounds, this will show what a heartless coward Floyd is. It will also show us maybe how one dimensional Floyd also is. It's no secret that Hatton can be cut and bruised something easy, I just hope people don't confuse this with anything that Floyd can actually do. Hatton is begining to remind me of Gatti in the facial bruises and cut dept.
I hope Hatton and the preacher man have a plan b and c if Floyd decides to run for 12.

How can you say that this is anything similar to Duran Leonard I? Duran is less of a pure pressure fighter at least by that stage in his career than Hatton is righ tnow. Also Leonard isn't the same kind of fighter going backwards Mayweather is. Leonard is better going forward or on middleweight ground where neither guy is really coming forward a lot. Mayweather is good at getting of his punches especially his right hand going backwards. Also how has Floyd ever shown he was one dimensional? He has foughten on the inside before(Ndou, Chavez for awhile), he has foughten comming forward(Corley, Mitchell, G. Hernandez, Judah among others), and he has shown counter punching/boxing with good body shots Gatti, Sosa, Burton, Bruseles), and he has shown his ability to fight going backwards (Oscar, Castillo, Corrales, Baldomir). He has done everything against pretty good opposition. If he doesn't stand right there against Hatton why is he being a pussy? Because he is fighting the best style to face Hatton by moving and tiring him out? Before he hurt his hand against Baldomir he didn't run all that much, he didn't run very much against Oscar either so he has already shown he isn't a pussy. Even guys like Cotto have run like he did against Mosley for four or five rounds or against Judah early when he was hurt.
