Everyone is so polit and fakely- pleasent to each other in elevators. It's like they expect "elevator terrorists" or something.
"I have hijacked ze elevatuur....Please wire one million euros to ze account number I give you or I vill make the elevatuuur stop at every floor."
haha, elevators is one of the most awkward places. I caught this elevator with this women once, I heard her say her last name just before we got on the elevator and I knew she knew I was about to ask her a question just by the feel of things. I go " You Italian" she smiles and replies "NO, portegese" From the lobby floor all the way to sky lobby floor which is on the 40th floor. We avoided that two people in one small zone awkwardness. She gets off thanking me for some reason and I tell her to have a nice day. That guys is a way to get that awkward feeling inside the elevator with a stranger out of the way. Who knows you might get yourself a date in the process ;)
