Re: What will the Khan haters say now?
They'll say how much more did Earl have left after the beating he took from Kats? Thats what the haters will say :)

Na,that's what the unintelligent and biased fan would say. Khan was awesomely impressive and I notice and I noticed that he looked much bigger too, across the shoulders. I thought it was going to be a close fight with a Khan win but he stopped him quicker than Kats! This guy was British number 1 and Khan mopped him up.
I still have reservations about his chin and I still want to see him v a genuine power puncher but he seems like a good fighter to me.
Re: What will the Khan haters say now?
Earl was shot when Katsidis bashed him up and he very nearly came unstuck so lets have a little perspective. Give Khan his props here guys. Plenty of people fancied Earl to upset the apple cart here but Amir smashed him to bits. Top stuff from Khan.
Re: What will the Khan haters say now?
khan looked awesome. when i first seen him i was like man he looks strong. he dominated....
well done khan
Re: What will the Khan haters say now?
I'm not really a big fan or a "hater"
I thought he looked very good but I really don't much about Earl. I've only seen him once versus Katsidis and I thought he was tough but I wasn't blown away by him as a fighter. Whether he's completely shot or not I don't know, just don't know enough about him.
Still its obvious Khan has talent. In some of the fights I've seen he comes out of his comfort zone too easily and gets kind of wild but he looked good last night.

sorry bilmbo i gotta agree with the gangster on this one. Con ;D did what he should of done, anything less would of been dissapointing.
Are you being serious? He beat a guy who's only had two defeats throughout his career and was beaten to a world title in 5 rounds last time out. How can KO'ing him in 72 seconds only be adequate?!??!? It's his 15th fight FFS. He's not exactly going to be unifying the division after 15 bouts. This is the absolute best that could have been expected from Khan against Earl. Colour me impressed.
;D Because lots of people were saying he was shot (McGuigan said the same after the fight!) his last corner refused to train/corner him because they knew he was past it.
But still Khan looked good doing it.

I'd still pick the Graham Earl that showed up last night to beat the Joel Casamayor that showed up last month though ;D
Dude, in his eyes, Casamayor is 39-0 and the best P4P fighter in the world. Joel said it himself so it must be true. ;D
Re: What will the Khan haters say now?
I wanna know why everyone on ITV was refering to Earl as the British No.1?
Don't really matter whether Earl was shot or not (clearly is) Khan couldn't be anymore impressive than that.
Probably would of done EXACTLY the same to a prime Earl.
Re: What will the Khan haters say now?
If Kahn could do that to Earl what could he do with Katsidis?
Re: What will the Khan haters say now?
They will say Earl was shot
Even the guys who predicted an Earl KO victory.
To be honest i always fought the Romanov win was a one off but i still didn't expect Kahn to blast him out. Those who doubt his power should have a word with themselves ;D
Future world champ no doubts

So did everybody.
there was very rarely someone as greatly pushed as he was within the last few years of boxing. I think a lot of people forget how much hype was behind that kid before he even turned pro.
Re: What will the Khan haters say now?
He's still only 21 :o
Huge talent...could go all the way if he can take a shot.
Until he gets in there with a big hitter though there will always be question marks over his chin ???
