Ok here we go, here's a list of floyds last 10 fights: Victoriano Sosa(KTFO by Cotto), Phillip N'dou(who?), DeMarcus Corley(good fighter & he stunned floyd), Henry Bruseles(who?), Arturo Gatti(washed up at the time), Sharmba Mithchell(tier 2 fighter), Zab Judah(I'll give him credit for that one), Carlos Baldomir(beat an unfocused Judah but still not near top tier guy), Oscar DeLaHoya(had 1 fight in the last three years and it was against a punching bag named Mayorga), Ricky Hatton(think Collazo)

He has not stepped up and taken a legitimate challenge for a very long time and while I wouldnt go as far as saying he isn't any good, I do have many questions that need answering.

Please post the last 10 victories of both Williams and Cotto so that as a board we can collectively laugh at you ;D ;D ;D

Are you saying floyd has fought better competition @ ww than Cotto?

Floyd has beaten better competition than Cotto fullstop, and im a Cotto fan saying that. Cotto would not beat 154 ODLH at this point in his career.

I'd be very surprised if Oscar steeped up and took a fight with Cotto.

With that said, I was a little disappointed in him even fighting Hatton, and Hatton thinking he could face Floyd. Hell, Floyd said in 24/7 fighting Hatton wouldn't help his legacy, so it's not only me saying it. He beat up a guy he was supposed to, and somewhere near 90% of people picked Floyd to beat Hatton easy. When you go around saying for years that Hatton is basically a garbage amateur fighter, it really doesn't look good on your resume. So though if Floyd retired now I wouldn't say anything negative, I would like to see him fight a prime WW like a Cotto or Williams before he retires.

CC'd! Good post and exactly what I've been trying to say as well. For the legacy of Floyd to be solidified he must face Cotto and or Williams. After that, there will be NO MORE questions.

Randall Bailey (best days behind him), DeMarcus Corley (had Cotto wobbling all over the place), Mohamad Abdulaev (disappointment since he turned pro), Ricardo Torres (limited slugger almost stopped Cotto), Gianluca Branco (come on now), Paul Malignaggi (no power, still went 12), Carlos Quintana (good fighter, but not elite), Oktay Urkel (unworthy challenger), Zab Judah (beat up Judah pretty good), Shane Mosley (great win over elite fighter)

Well this all depends on the answer to this question .....

HOW MUCH RESPECT DOES FLOYD WANT?

If he wants to be recognized as "The Greatest Fighter of All-Time" then he has a TON of work to do at 147-154 and maybe even 160 and yeah I think he could fight there vs some smaller or slower guys.

...if he just wants to be one of the greats then he's pretty set right now but could really solidify his place in history by once and for all UNIFYING A DIVISION.

If he wants to be recognized as "The Greatest Fighter of All-Time" then he has a TON of work to do at 147-154 and maybe even 160 and yeah I think he could fight there vs some smaller or slower guys.

And if he unifies a division you'll say thats not enough he should win a MW championship.
So he does that against a lesser MW and u say he should have fought Pavlik.
So he does that and gets KTFO and u say he was overrated and not that great.

The point is he'll never impress guys like u cos u hate on him.

I disagree 100%. He needs to do ONE more thing. He MUST beat Cotto. That's it. Leonard high tailed it out of 140 to avoid Aaron Pryor so retiring after beating Cotto and then having people say he's ducking Williams is completely hypocritical, as Leonard NEVER cleaned out a division himself. And saying he even need step foot in the middleweight division shows you obviously have designs on holding a neverending bias against Floyd, for whatever reason is beyond me.
