I'm gonna disagree here with some on your list.... So you know the matchups I will list are performances in which the fighters had already looked good in before loosing in the fights you listed.

There is no way Evander looked better on that night then on the night he fought De Leon. For starters he got hit waaaay to much against Bowe against De Leon he was just an animal....
It was the first time Holyfield was behind in a fight, and his 10th round performance is possibly one of the greatest comeback's i've ever seen in a single round. Maybe Holyfield had better dominant performances like in rematch with Qawi. But in this fight Holyfield was just amazing, i know he had to dig deep in his first fight with Qawi but i can't even put it into words every time i see this fight it gives me goosebumps.
I think this ones the most interesting one. Being that Pernell had looked great since his amateur days. I would also say he looked much better when he beat Santana. Much much better...
It was his first fight against elite fighter, i think out boxing a very respected Lightweight champion like Ramirez when Whitaker only had 15 pro fights is more impressive.

I agree i think how he handle James Buddy McGirt is for certain debatable on better performances, but at that time Chavez had an aura of invincibility and no one expected Taylor to out box Chavez as easily as he was doing it, so on that i rate it slightly higher.

I understand what your saying but imo out boxing an ATG like Arguello after 12 rounds is superb, thats why i rate it higher because of the name Arguello is makes it that little bit more special, he was superb that night if only he didn't use up everything he had in the 12th maybe the outcome could of been different.

Well I had only seen the Baldomir fight prior to that so for me yes he did look much better on that night.

Not quite inkeeping with the thread title but In Jin Chi made me want to watch him again after losing to Morales. Not sure if he improved any but he did win a world title so that has to count for sumink.

Also, how about Golota vs. Bowe? Golota lost the fight because of the DQ, but he had been killing Bowe throughout the fight.

I missed this quote my bad, Hearns put a masterclass on one of the best Welterweight's of all time in one of the famous fights in boxing history i think its just that bit more special. his destruction of Cuevas was amazing when he landed that right hand it looked like Cuevas had been shot with a shotgun, it depends on what your taste is, a boxing masterclass or short quick destruction.
