You know that is impossible. I just read on B0xingSc3ne.com that Floyd is kissing Cotto's @ss big time and he gives many reasons why he wont fight Cotto. So, I am off to post this story or tidbits as we are not allowed to post entire articles from that site here.

Why not make one thread entitled 'Reasons I HATE PBF' list all your reasons (u can add to them whenever u like) and leave it at that. Stop filling the board with threads that pretty much all say the same thing in different ways. U and the Floyd haters can have a field day in there, and can leave the people who actually watch boxing in an unbiased fashion to discuss more important things....

What dos the new thread say that any of the other dozens u have posted say? Im a fan of PBF and Cotto, and would love to see them fight. I think the fight will happen. I dont think Floyd is scared of Cotto and i think Floyd would win a lopsided UD over Cotto. I think if Cotto beats Williams, Margo or Cintron the fight will happen. I wouldnt be bothered if Cotto beat Floyd, i think that would be great, and i certainly wouldnt make excuses for him. The only reason i have a go at u is cos u try and run down the best fighter in the sport, and that is wrong.

These posts are odd. They just go on and on about the same stuff over and over. Yeah sure Cotto is tough and Maywether is the No. 1 P4P but we are not going to know unless they fight. I really don't see why Floyd is ducking him he is awesome and Cotto keeps saying that he lets his management decide who he fights. He's not calling anyone out. And whether it's delusional or not the guy who's regarded as the worlds best P4P shouldn't and wouldn't think he's vulnerable to anyone. So i just dont get all this peacocking about Floyd, Margarito, Cintron, Cotto and whoever else.

This thread really didn't go in the direction planned. OK this was not exactly a PBF bashing thread untill Danny got into it. I have no problem with that, anybody can say what they want here.
My question was ment more for HBO. Since I am sure Floyd is not in charge of the editing in an HBO broadcast. I just wonder why HBO would not promote that fight. Are they not looking at the poll they started at their own web site where it states that this is the fight most poeple want to see by far? If I were in charge of HBO, I would do everything in my power to make sure this fight gets made in the near future.

Sounds like a fair assessment, but they are only going to let Cotto get stronger. If he unifies the belts then Floyd won't have a choice.
HBO just wants to charge $75.00 for the PPV, so they can break all of their previous records.

These constant threads are exactly why floyd acts the way he does, his name is mentioned whether good or bad about every other thread on this and many other forums. When you can get your haters to mention your name more than your fans it makes you wonder who his fans really are. The funny thing is all this bad publicity haters give him probably gives him as much money in the bank as the positive...which is what most hate about him in the first place. They usually are pretty funny though.

Because Cotto is not some money making puppet entertaining clown like Floyd is.
Floyd is a big draw and Cotto not so big of a draw.
HBO is trying to protect Floyd and avoid the inevitable.
Cotto is like Mister T and he would make Floyd look like a stupid rocky balboa.
ok I went way to far with that drama even I am laughing at myself for that one. ;D but I will say that Floyd is a cash cow just like Jermain Taylor was and HBO does not want to lose another cash cow this soon. They want to milk Floyd as much as possible and make sure he takes easier fights than Cotto for at least 100 hundred years or so jua ja ja ja ja O0
