He hasnt once looked like Tito since Hopkins ripped his guts out,he allways looks confused and afraid now.
Can he find his way back?
He sure did destroy Mayorga
Thats 2 weight classes below where Jones vs Tito is taking place.

That's fine but that was not the comment, he said Tito has not looked the same since Hopkins
Re: Can I get a sneak peak of your predictions for the Trinidad Vs Jones fight
I'll take Jones on points. In a less than exciting fight
Re: Can I get a sneak peak of your predictions for the Trinidad Vs Jones fight
Jones Jr by UD in a ordinary fight.

Jones making 170 will be torture. He blamed his bad displays against Tarver and Johnson on being weight weakened. So why is he trying to make 170?

He was weight weakened having dropped the muscle he packed on to go to heavyweight. He won't have that problem now i think.

I still think it's gonna be a problem, though not as significant as before. Fighters should not go down in weight after they've spent much of their career at a higher weight, especially late in their career. Jones has not fought bellow 175 in over 10 years.

Typically I would agree Rookie fan, but with Jones, I feel his body is naturally about 166, he justs piles on a heap of muscle there.
So I reckon Jones will have no problems and come in in good shape (assuming his training camp goes well.)

Well let's hope both training camps go well and we get a good fight.
Actually, I think this fight is going to be a lot better than most think. Sure they are both past it and in many way this looks like a missmatch but I got a funny feeling that we are going to have ourselves a good fight.
After all, a passed it Roy Jones Jr and a passed it Felix Tito Trinidad is still better than most fighters out there.
Re: Can I get a sneak peak of your predictions for the Trinidad Vs Jones fight
Yeah, thats true enough!
Since his offensive arsenal has faded Roy has taken to Boxing on the backfoot, Initially running into problems on the ropes (i.e against Tarver and Johnson) but he's adapted his style and now he's quite good at fighting on the ropes.
This style will mesh quite well with the eternally aggresive Trinidad. Tito is still Tito and he'll press forward as always searching only with bombs. He may catch Roy and Roy may catch Trinidad so it may also come down to heart, which will be interesting in itself.
I too am anticipating a good fight.
Re: Can I get a sneak peak of your predictions for the Trinidad Vs Jones fight
Is this what they call an exibition fight?
Everyone gets to see a pair of modern boxing legends in the ring. Whilst you have dinner with the gf/wife.
I can't be called competitive can it?
Re: Can I get a sneak peak of your predictions for the Trinidad Vs Jones fight
Very very easy fight for RJJ. Tito is a welterweight. Roy is a light heavyweight. This fight is an absolute mismatch. Tito will have zero power at 170. Roy will either knock him out or just win all 12 rounds. This is a joke of a fight.
Re: Can I get a sneak peak of your predictions for the Trinidad Vs Jones fight
Jones by KO. Say what you want about diminishing skills, but Tito has him matched in that department when you factor in inactivity and a weight he doesn't belong at. Tito is going to look chunky, Roy will be ripped per usual. Remember Roy just fought and beat a good fighter in Anthony Hanshaw (who will be in the top ten SMW someday). Tito is going to realize he doesn't really want to fight at around the 7th and Roy will still have plenty enough gas to make things uncomfortable for him. Look for the "old" man to look young and the "young" man to look old.
Re: Can I get a sneak peak of your predictions for the Trinidad Vs Jones fight
I'd love to see the betting line for this. If it's anywhere near even, this is easy money.
Update: just checked, not close. Roy by KO is even. The overall result lines are 1/5 RJJ, 10/3 Tito. The market apparently agrees that this is a silly, non-competitive fight.
