if he want to be the greatest p4p fighter in many peoples eyes includng those, like myself, who doent like him he must fight and beat:
1.Ricky Hatton
2.Miguel Cotto
3.Winky Wright
4. ODLH
5. Kassim Ouma
6. Margarito
ANY ONE OF THEM. But he chooses to be a Pu$$y and take the easy road. He was great against Corrales, and Chavez but he hasnt done Shat in the last couple of years. I do give him credit if he fights and beats Baldomir. IF. But you heard it from me first: Baldomir will win a decision over PBF. Thats right, a decision.

I was joking but if you want to take me seriously, i will defend myself. When I wrote that Hatton had just beat Collazo at Welterweight and I probably assumed he would stay there but as we know he went back down to light welterweight. Floyd did beat Baldomir and that was a good win at the time imo, good but not great and maybe I overestimated Baldomir a little. Oscar was also a good win but not great and it wasnt a dominant performance imo. Floyd is a great fighter, but I dont think he hs taken on the hardest challenges. And also the thread wad about being the p4p best, and I think he is the p4p best.

I was just making a point on how people rate these fighters highly before Mayweather fights them, and they say Mayweather has to fight him and him etc. But when Mayweather beats these guys they suddenly become *Not good* *Past there prime* *Overrated* etc.

I wrote that a year and a half ago. Lots of things have happened since then. At the time that is how I felt. I still think Floyd doesnt go after he best at his weight but he has fought well against good fighters as of late. Bruseles, Gatti, Mitchell, and Judah were the guys that Mayweather had fought at the time of that thread. Judah had just been beaten by Baldomir but PBF decided to fight Judah anyways. A lot happened AFTER i wrote that and he did go on to beat Baldomir, ODLH, and Hatton but at that time myself and ALOT of people felt that way. You must be very confused but I cant lay it out any clearer.

cc
I agree- Pavlik KNOCKOUT the two Best Middleweights AND they were both UPSETS. Floyd beat two fighters that everyone knew he would beat anyway.
Re: Floyd Mayweather: Ring Magazine 2007 Fighter of the year
CC back.
I don't think everyone thought Floyd would beat Oscar., but a hell of alot of people knew he'd beat Hatton. Floyd was though in the 2 biggest events this year, events that were good for the sport, and he did win, so hats off to him. No use crying about it; it won't change. I just thought at the least Pavlik beating Taylor would count for upset of the year. It didn't; oh well.

Only difference is they have Paulie as comeback fighter and I have Forrest.
They have PBF and I have Pavlik.
other then that it's pretty much the same....

CC Ice, that's a page out of my book, I have done the samething to three posters in the last couple of weeks just to see them squirm, I can't stand people who contradict themselves or live in denial, I have nothing agaist BoomBoom but we know of other people on the forum who do the samethings, it's just funny how people think we don't remember the bullshit they wrote in the past, it's hilarious. This was a solid ownage

That is the reason DLH is such a big PPV draw it brings in those who do not watch the sport on a regular basis

I don't understand the selection of Malignaggi for comeback of the year. What did come back from? He got his ass kicked by Cotto. But it's not like was a champion prior to that. He was just a hyped up prospect who got his ass beat.

I look at comeback as a fighter being on top, falling off and than coming back. Paulie wasn't on top prior to his loss. He was just a prospect.
