My question is who can Floyd beat in MMA? In all honesty....Knowing Floyd and his ego he is going to want to fight the best right off...just like in boxing.( :lolhaha: :lolhaha:)..sorry couldn't help myself....OK back to business.....If he fought any elite guys in MMa around his weight class and that would have to be 145 because the next division is too big for him especially on the mat.....
At 145 in the WEC we have Jens Pulver and Uriah Faber...Two VERY bad ass little guys that would hurt PBF in the worst way...they are world class fighters...again not boxers but fighters
UFC has..Sean Sherk, Joe Stevenson who is a true bad ass....again they murder him....
at 154 you might as well call the homocide division before the fight even starts....
In the 155+ PBF has even less of a chance...who is he going to beat..Matt Serra?...St Pierre? BJ Penn.....
None of these guys will take kindly to Floyds pre fight antics..care about him being "Money" Mayweather or anything else....all that will do is get an extra few seconds before they break on the tap...
Kimbo Slice adapted fairly well to the cage. He was given a little tutelage by Bas Rutten and although he wasn't fighting a MMA guy he did reasonably well.
If Floyd does make the move he'll get the best training available and prepare accordingly. I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen sub 147 either. Floyd is a natural athlete so who knows ???
He'll be unbearable should he succeed.

Good interview. Floyd Sr. never censors a thing he thinks, speaks his mind loud. Always surprises me with his wisdom sometimes.
Love how he gave the little message to ellerbe about his head being up floyd's ass "make sure to put that in there" ;D
Absolutley true. But I'd say Floyd would be even more adaptable than Kimbo as he seems to learn well and his body is in excellent condition at all times. I'm not suggesting that Floyd will go in to this new sport and become a top guy, but he may well succeed in a couple of custom made exhibitions.Quote:

For as much as Sr. And Jr. have difference's and had a fallen out,Pop's sure has a subtle way of keeping all eyes on Floyd! :-\
This WILL NOT happen.
I don't like the way he gets his points across but he does speak some sense. I love the part about Ellerbe,it's SO dam true.

I know he split with BC Dawson, he's still got Guzman, but who else is Floyd Sr. Training at the moment?
