Re: Cult Classic Fights ??
Antonio Escalante-Jose Hernandez (guy who KO'd Litzau) was a good fight that I don't think a ton of people saw.

All of these fights were highlights in some way or another but rarely mentioned.
Hagler vs. Antuofermo was pretty good. Nothin spectacular though. Neither guy really ever had the other in trouble. Least thats how I saw it.

I'm more surprised at the result more than anything else considering no-one came close to beating Hagler for a long time. Was a Hagler a huge favorite in this fight? He demolished him in the rematch.
Re: Cult Classic Fights ??
Lovemore Ndou v Ben Rabah
Paul Briggs v Tomasz Adamek I and II
Re: Cult Classic Fights ??
I don't remember his first name but the last name is Ruba vs Terry Norris.

Well I'm sure he was the favorite. Dunno bout HUGE though. It was really a tough fight for Hagler that should have been a decision victory. Hagler tired late and Antefuermo came on strong, but not strong enuff for a draw.
Vito was a tough, musclebound motherfucker though.

How good was that fight? I've heard it was exciting but I just find it hard to believe that Rabah could be in a truly exciting fight after seeing him versus Urango.
