PBF vs ODLH was competitive and that has to count for something. I do however, hope that Floyd fights at least one or two top Welters before hanging them up. The way things are looking, I would have to say that Floyd is going to most likely follow the path of ODLH and fight only when he want's to maybe once or twice a year and only for big bucks. It now seems like Oscar is sort of moving on and now wants to take on a couple of TV fights, which should leave PBF holding the baton and taking those one or two big money fights per year. Floyd still has a lot to give and take from this sport. Some one who loves money as much as him, wont go away before completely cashing in.
Great posting Danny some good rep coming your way.
Sorry i can't give you any i have to spread some round first, oh well i'll give you some next time.

Andre Berto would give Mayweather a harder fight right now than Oscar.
Re: Andre Berto is WBC number 1 right?Does that make him Floyd's mandatory?
I doubt Berto's handlers would try and enforce his mandatory. There not that stupid.

Berto is way too green to get in the ring with Mayweather. He's got a lot of potential, but he's still pretty far from polished from what I've seen.
Keep in mind, that Delahoya might have been Mayweather's toughest fight since he fought Jose Luis Castillo the first time. So I don't see why there's so many people freaking out about the rematch.
Just out of curiosity, who do you think would win if it were Berto instead of Mayweather fighting Delahoya later this year? I'd pick Oscar by wide UD, with a couple knockdowns in the fight for good measure.

Well that depends on how Jose is feeling and if he feels the turnout will be good $$$ if you know what I mean. ;)
Re: Andre Berto is WBC number 1 right?Does that make him Floyd's mandatory?
Mayweather would SMOKE Berto.. not even close..
Anyway, I don't care that DLH is fighting Mayweather again, i just care that its SO DAMN LATE in the year.. At least if it was in May, it would leave PBF open for a possible november/december fight (like last year).. Am i excited about it? Not really.. I don't think that Floyd will have a problem getting a UD on this one..

IMO Cintron beats Berto at this stage in his career as does Williams or Cotto......
Clottey, Margarito, Mosley and even Judah beat Berto right now
Judah-Berto would be a good matchup, I'm not sure who I would favor. There was some talk of the fight a little while ago, but I guess it didn't come together.

I would have to favor Judah....Berto has too many flaws in his defense....As much of a bad streak Judah has had over the last few years with the exception of Baldomir look who he has lost against....
Berto would be too easy for Zab to just pot shot all night

I'd probably favor Judah too, but Berto's been talking about stepping up his level of competition for a while, and if he's serious about testing himself against the big boys at 147, Judah's a good place to start.
Re: Andre Berto is WBC number 1 right?Does that make him Floyd's mandatory?
Well Berto is nowhere near ready for Floyd but I think a Margarito, or a Cintron fight would be just what he needs. I think hes ready for either one of those guys.

I think ODh would stop Berto, depending on how Oscar handled making 147. He's just too big, strong, and experienced, and Berto's defense is still way too leaky.
