For the 100th time, he will fight him.
He's not ducking him and he's not scared of him.
He's letting the fight brew just a little bit longer. Once Hatton's reputation is back to somewhere near it was before the Mayweather fight, and once Witter has made another big statement (like the Harris fight) the fight will happen.
Witter is deserving of his shot, but given Hatton's immesnse popularity and Witter's increasing fan base and popularity, the fight has the potential to be even bigger than Benn and Eubank....if it's made at the correct time.
The correct time is when Hatton's reputation has been repaired and when Witter is recognizable by the avergae sports fan in the UK.
Wether you agree or not, that's whats happening. Financially it will be great for both of them.
After Hatton bashes-up no-name in May he'll probably be back off to the States.. when's this Witter fight gonna happen?
Witter will probably be beaten by time it takes Hatton to be ready for him.
Then we can go back to the "he's not worthy" excuse.
