None of the above Fenster. I know you're firmly in the Haye camp and you know I am a firm believer that Macca will come out on top.
Personally, I don't think Haye will be able to get past the Maccarinelli guard early on, and as we can see Haye tends to tire, so going into the second half I really struggle to see Haye coming out on top unless he gets Macca early.
Fancy a sig bet? ;)

I dont think it is cut and dried by any means , Enzo has the sharper jab i think , but i think Mac will get KOED as he has not met a big puncher of this caliber , were as Carl Thompson had world class power and hit Haye many times before David crumbled. That my point of view. However i wouldnt put my house on it .

oh right, you didn't mean Haye can't ko him, as in, Haye smacks him in the mouth and china-chin Enzo takes the punch and doesn't end-up in a heap on the floor.
Forget all that second-half stuff. This is David Haye not Mark Hobson.
Enzo will have lost this fight before the first bell goes.. and will REALLY lose the fight after roughly 6 mins.
Fenster loves a bet, you're on ;)
Re: Just met Karl Thompson ,his thoughts on HAYE V MAC
Lost a lot of admiration for Thompson after Hatton Maussa as I saw him outboxed by an out of condition Super Middle weight on the undercard, only to win a Shady Unanimous decision...
But he wa good at his peak...
Come on Macca.

To be fair it's not ~Thompsons fault that many judges are corrupt, blind and retarded
Re: Just met Karl Thompson ,his thoughts on HAYE V MAC
Would the loser of this fight end up moving to Heavyweight??? I have heard of Haye moving to Heavyweight but never of Macca moving up...would he?

He chatted about the fight with great enthusiasm , and he told me he had a substantial bet on Maccrinelli , and told me he would win inside 3 rounds.
I argued my points for a david Haye win but the CAT wasnt having it , so all you Enzo fans out there get to the bookies , cos Karl knows Haye more than any of us guys.
Sorry mate this is like asking a jockey who's going to win the 3.30 at ascot, boxers & jockeys have more chance of picking their nose than a winner

I was telling you something that had happened to me , which had a boxing interest ( Thompson was a former champ ) .
Im not your MATE and im also not going to put all my money on the fight on his advice.
It was something i wanted to share with my fellow boxing fans .
So please dont take me or any other guy on here as a fool , or that you are far better than the rest of us.
So to sum up take my meeting of Carl Thompson as irrelivant or as having some importance , as he is the only guy to have beaten David Haye , this is up to yourselves.
But TELBOY66 earn your respect before you take the piss out of me or any other guys on here who have a brain .
P.S the picking their nose GAG was really funny :) all your own work ?

Yeah Enz is looking to move up at some point, he has said a few times he will one day, but right now he comes in around 195 on fight night and walks around under 200 inbetween fights; there is no reason for himt o go there yet, well that and he wont move up untill he has taken all 4 belts.
Re: Just met Karl Thompson ,his thoughts on HAYE V MAC
Good thread.
I've bumped into David Haye (before his European WBC eliminator with the Italian - apols, I've forgotten his name). Haye was a top bloke and we chatted about boxing, his career etc for about 15 mins.
We chatted about Enzo (at that time, Enzo was more well known) and he said he would like to beat him as it would raise his profile. He just doesn't think Enzo is in his class. I agree with this.
Re Karl Thompson, he comes across as a decent bloke too, very interesting when talking about boxing, but I'm not with him on this fight.
He fought and beat a pretty immature, inexperienced Haye. I think Haye has progressed a lot since then.

I pretty much agree with you on this one dude.
Re: Just met Karl Thompson ,his thoughts on HAYE V MAC
I'm still interested about the supermarket. Did he have a club card or use any coupons?
Does he collect the points?

lol, that's better now finally! see that's the real story much more interesting than talking about who he thinks will win between Haye and Enzo

But seriously, a guy who's been in with Haye should have more insight than you or I bro, and I'm sure it can't be just because I agree with him. I think Haye's stamina is suspect, especially at cruiser where he'll be pretty weight drained, and I don't think he can KO Maccarinelli, which says to me Macca on points.
Rhun im a bit confused , on this subject in uk-boxing post , you say Haye showed great finishing againest Mormeck , and you could see this putting Mac on the mat.
Can you clear this up for me , on which way you think it will go Rhun ?
