Witter calling Hatton's bluff

There is something that hatton see's in witter that he doesn't want to deal with. I really just belive hatton does not think he can beat him for some reason.

I don't doubt that at all. Let Witter get older (he's already 34) and become less of a threat. Than Hatton will jump at the chance to face him. That way he can add another shot fighter to his resume. It follows his career pattern. Hatton ain't following nobody. His best wins are against fighters past there primes. The only 2 fighters Hatton fought that were in there prime (Mayweather and Collazo) kicked his ass.

Balls, how can you expect ricky to fight hatton after Mary Whatever? Ricky has just come from a loss to pfp champ. It would look like he ran off home for a domestic fight cause he couldn't hack it at international level.

As far as am concerned Collazo never kicked Hatton's ass, I admit Hatton nearly got KNFO in that last round but look at the way I used the word "Nearly" ;) beacuse it never happened. Hatton showed his determination and courage coming through that last round and despite him having a matter of weeks to train and the bout was at welterweight against a tricky southpaw, then for Hatton to win by UD and floor Collazo in the process is a big achievemnet.

I've got every Hatton fight on DVD and I've watched them all a number of times and where you say "He can add another shot fighter to his resume" is bullshit VD coz Hatton ain't fought nobody shot. Watch the Castillo fight again and notice how in the 3rd Castillo clearly won that round and so Hatton was not fully dominating going to the 4th round (Where he KO'd Castillo which Mayweather could not do in 24 rounds ;))

Carlos Maussa was in his prime after KO'ing Harris and only losing to Cotto on cuts yet Hatton KO'd him in 9.

Kosta Tzsyu destroyed Sharmba Mitchell 6/7 months before Hatton and was number 2 P4P so how on earth was he shot ??

Let's remmeber Hatton has fought 4 world champions (2 in a division where he ain't comfortable) and beat 3 of them KO'ing 2 and who has Witter fought ???

Witter only deserves a ring with Hatton to carry in his Ring Light-Welter belt ;D

You can say what you want about Hatton but he is the bravest boxer on the planet and that is a fact!!!

Floyd Mayweather had to use dirty tactics to beat Hatton, a natural 140 pounder, so what does that say about him??

Look what Kessler is doing......looking for the big fights. Rick is a great exiting fighter coming towards the end of his career due to his life outside the ring. He should fight Witter and prove his worth as the best at 140 because at 147 he is pretty much useless. If he needs to cement a legacy its to prove he was the best at 140 and 147 was too much for him.

Plus, when Mary Whatever looked in his pocket he found the Ref!

I believe that Hatton will fight Witter next year when he has a title. It should at that point be a unification bout.

As for Witter I can not believe Hopkins has pulled out. I think he knows he will be destroyed by Witter so has come out with the convenient promotional dispute excuse. What now for Witter?

He should forget hatton for now as I believe that Hatton's camp will try and make it next year if Witter is still WBC champ.

Mayweather used dirty tactics to beat Hatton ?? theres sour grapes then theres ridiculous, and your acting ridiculous now. Mayweather beat Hatton by neutralizing his offense on the inside, he also beat him with surperior boxing skills, it was a one sided affair and Hatton was totally outclassed end of. Hatton was doing his fair share of illegal tactics as well.

And as for Hatton's opponents, Carlos Maussa ?? please Maussa is terrible he was coming off taking a beating from Miguel Cotto, and i seem to remember Maussa recently got stopped in about 2 minutes ??

Jose Luis Castillo was at his best at Lightweight, before his fight with Hatton he looked like a shot fighter against Herman Ngoudjo.

Kostya Tszyu was 35 and had only fought like 3 times in 3 years.

Oh and by the way Luis Collazo was considered an easy opponent for Hatton, Collazo was virtually unknown and if you look back at old posts on this forum 95 percent were predicting an easy quick win for Hatton.

Because he's waiting for Witter to start slipping. The moment Witter doesnt have that aura of invincibility Hatton will fight him. Sad thing is if Witter has a rough time in his next fight then it will take some steam off the fight

Did not Victor Ortiz beat Maussa years after the Hatton fight and after Maussa had a long layoff?? I think so and Cotto only beat him on cuts as well.

Just because Ngoudjo gave Castillo problems does'nt mean he looked shot and he handled him with more ease than Malignaggi did a few months ago.

Well then everybody undrsestimated Collazo just like Hatton did, but he still won a UD and floored Collazo in the process on his first time to welter and Floyd had to fight a shot Sharma Mitchell on his first step up ;)

Hatton is coming off a brutal KO loss. Its only sensible for him to pick a tune up, Its what any other top level boxer would do. Let's just shut it on the whole "He's a big chicken and ducking Witter" crap. :rolleyes:

He just fought the best on the planet and by giving up any natural advantages. If he wants a tune up then so be it. Hatton is really no coward.

I don't know why this has become such a big topic, I mean I get why it is in Britain but why it has become such a big deal to American fans is beyond me. When did everybody become so interested in Junior Witter :confused: I must have missed it. Unless its just a way to call Hatton a bitch.

I mean I'd watch it but its not like I'd be counting down the days in anticipation, its not Vasquez-Marquez 3 although strangely enough its discussed more than Vasquez-Marquez 3.
