Should be a late stoppage here for Guzman, unless he decides to toy with Arthur by show boating down the stretch.

Arthur is always in an exciting fight just check out his amazing war with Michael Gomez, Arthur has good skills but he has a suspect chin, and his defense is very leaky. Arthur at best is European level thats it, i can't really understand this match up for Guzman, its lose/lose situation.
Arthur will be handled easily by the much more capable Guzman, if nothing else Guzman has been more active against better opposition. Then you factor the advatages in speed and skill that Guzman will enjoy...Stoppage in ten or so.
The come back of Scott Harrisson will probably see Arthur in the ring again, possibily to take another beating, depends on how badly Harrisson has damged his body.

Guzman-Arthur May 3!
Alex Arthur (26-1, 19 KOs) faces the toughest test of his career when he tackles world champion Joan Guzman (28-0, 17 KOs) on May 3 - but is backing massive Edinburgh support to ensure he is victorious. The Scotsman challenges Guzman for the full WBO super-featherweight title, and knows he has got his work cut out against one of the best fighters in the world. But interim WBO champion Arthur, 26-1 (19) says his home fans could be the key to victory, as the super fight goes ahead at the Meadowbank Arena, Edinburgh. "With my fans behind me I know I can beat Guzman and prove that I belong at world level," said the 29-year-old Edinburgh ace. "He reckons that fighting me will be easy money, but I'm going to give him hell for every single penny he earns," continued Arthur. "I've never been so fired up for a fight in all my life. It's been my dream to fight the best in the world, and now I've got the chance to prove myself, I'll take it with both hands." Setanta Sports televise live in the UK. Tickets priced £40, £50, £75, £100 and £150 are available from the Meadowbank. Call +0131 661 5351.
Arthur was really struggling to make the weight last time out and nearly got KO'd by a domestic level fighter. I'd be surprised if he lasts twelve rounds but even if he does he has no chance in this fight. It'll be a massacre.
Bye Bye Alex.
Guzman should dominate!!!
Anyone want to see Guzman in with Marquez if he can't get Manny back in the ring & decides to stay at 130? Would qualify for the vacant championship if Pacquiao decides to move on to 135! So a lot on the line & a potentially great fight!
