I also think your not giving due to the fact that Roy could easily land a big right hand of his own and Miranda would be on queer street at the least, and Roy would obviously be more likely to land the better shots. Roy is still way too good for Miranda to actually beat imo, though it would be a hell of an action fight.
Jones looked pretty good, I don't disagree with that, but looking good against an Trinidad isn't all that impressive. I think Trinidad would come up short against any of the top fighters at SMW. I'm not sure who would win if Jones and Miranda fought. I don't think there's any way Miranda could win a decision, but he might be able to hurt Jones if he could hit him. I wouldn't might seeing them fight.

I got a great idea. Put them two in the ring together ;D
RJJ would hand out a vicious beating on Miranda and stop him late on.

I have to agree. Even the now faded Jones would be too much for him IMO.

Miranda should fight Pascal first.

Thinking about it, I'd actually have Miranda-Trinidad as a pick em fight if not favouring Trinidad. I just don't see what Miranda has done since being KO'ed in a one sided affair against Pavlik, to make him a legitimate threat at SMW. We all knew he had great punching power, what has he actually proven to the fans, that would suggest he isn't the same fighter Pavlik beat down? I just don't see it, Roy Jones would murder him.

I would have to disagree with you in regards to a Miranda - Trinidad bout, Tito would get murdered. But the more I think about a Jones - Miranda fight, the less of a chance I think Miranda would have.

I don't see Miranda murdering anyone with Tito's ring experience, grit, and arsenal of punches. I think it would be an extremely crowd pleasing war where Miranda would have to take Tito out early to win. Trinidad puts his shots together way better than Edison, knows his way around the ring way better, is faster, better skills.. The only thing on Miranda's side is power, and Tito is no slouch there either. I don't see why he couldn't hurt Miranda. If it were so easy to just blast Tito out of there, Roy would have done so. Hopkins would have. The problem is, you need to have boxing skills in order to figure him out and get out of the way of his shots. Look at the left hook Allan Green floored Miranda with(practically the only shot he threw) I think if therre's one big fight at SMW Tito should take, it's against Miranda. I really think he's getting overrated again these days. WHY?

Tito has done nothing to demonstrate he has a lot of power at 168, unless Pavlik destroyed Miranda's chin I don't think Trinidad could land enough to seriously hurt Miranda. Tito, I don't think at least, would not be able to withstand Miranda's power shots and I don't think he'd be able to avoid enough of them to mitigate Miranda's power advantege. I'd also think there is a good chance that Miranda hits harder at 168 than an old Jones fighting at SMW. It didn't seem to me that Miranda was badly hurt by Green's shot; Green hit him with a good shot and dropped him, but he caught also caught him off-balance. I don't really think Miranda's a monster at 168 or anything, he's probably not even in the top 10 SMW's IMO, but Tito just does not belong at the weight, he's also too old/past his prime and too inactive in terms of how often he fights. He's also lost both of his fights since beating Mayorga in 2004.
