Re: Even Though Katsidis Lost Has He Gone Up In Your Estimation ??
He impressed me with his heart, he didnt fold after the two knockdowns and came back hard. He was in the drivers seat IMO going into the 10th. I think he won't ever make that same mistake again. He just has to work on his defense, but I can see why he gets compared to Gatti alot. Kid's got heart.

Yes, especially with the interview after the fight. He's going to be an entertaining guy for as long as his career lasts.

I was surprised buy His suttle shifts. He got caught with good lefts in the 1st ,as much as a huge atomsphere of Casa and elite championship aura. His defence is a secondary concern to him and he is a true believer in Applied pressure being the answer to almost everything.Showed good mix up with shots....Solid rips to body and short straight punches upstairs were very effective,If not for Casa's footwork and Solid guile & experience at top level of class,He might have closed the show early. He is no by the book guy either.....Tricky Side swipes with elbows ;) and knows how to use the shoulders to scoot a guy off.The fact that He got up off the floor from an absolute picture perfect Left hook on the point of the chin that would have had many guys cash in the chips says much about his overall resolve and fortitude. I think he can be a thinker & better than a simple two fisted puncher, but His style and willingness to absorb shots to get in his own may not result in a lengthy stay at top.He should avoid the pitfalls of many fighters and rebuild smartly and hone his skills as opposed too being thrown into a steady Network grinder of elite top tier guys.It will be a helluva show to watch along the way,Whatever happens.

Having not seen the fight yet it is hard to form an opinion, but since i know he lost and he was leading on the scorecards i can only assume he did very well against a seasoned veteren who has a pretty good resume behind him.
Casamayor is a great fighter and it looks like his experience saw him through in a tough fight. Katsidis will hopefully learn from this and not make the same mistake twice, i would love to see him fight Khan or Campbell.
