Casamayor-Santa Cruz wasn't for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world. It was an interim title bout stashed on an undercard.
Indeed a robbery though.

IT DOESNT MATTER. It was the most important fight of Santa Cruz's career. Every fight should be judged fairly whether its an undercard fight or a main event. That is every fighters right no matter the magnitude of the fight.

Ya, every fight should be judged fairly, that's a judge's job.
But you're calling out Merchant and Lampley for not being as outraged about Casamayor-Santa Cruz as they were about Lewis-Holyfield.
First off, Merchant didn't even work the Casamayor-Santa Cruz fight, Kellerman was working that fight, so I'm not sure how Merchant was supposed to be outraged when he wasn't even on the telecast.
Lampley wasn't as outraged as he was for Lewis-Holyfield, because he's a media member, not a judge. The media spends time/energy on subjects based on how important they are. Casamayor-Santa Cruz was not 1/10 as important of a fight as Lewis-Holyfield was. People were not as interested in talking about the Casamayor-SC robbery as they were about Lewis-Holyfield. That's a fact.
If a fight like Pacquiao-Marquez II had ended in a blatant robbery like Lewis-Holyfield, then I'm sure Lampley/Merchant would have been outraged, because Pac-Marquez II was a huge fight with huge significance.
