Is it going to be shown over here in England?
I'm with this guy;D;D;D;D
Shane deserves good money fights. He's never failed to deliver a great show of effort at least. Zab's 9 lives are just about out. I thought they were gone but then this fight came up. I like Shane's comment about not taking his $100k bet cause Zab's gonna need the money. That's probably the truest prefight prediction in years...
Re: Should Mosely vs Judah be a PPV
Why do I wanna see Zab get knocked out again for fifty dollars? Excuse me $49.95 taxes and fees.

Mosely has never been big box office, Judah hasn't won a fight worth mentioning since Cory Spinks, they both lost their last fights to Miguel Cotto.
Who decided this should be PPV?
This won't get more than 150,000 buys imo, in fact I'd consider it a 'success' if it got near 100,000.
It's a fight between two fighters on a losing streak, one old, the other washed up I can't see how HBO are charging for this?
Don't get me wrong I think it will be an entertaining fight but it should be a freebie, not a fucking PPV
Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Bilbs, my answer is no.
But bare with me as I explain this to you:

Re: Should Mosely vs Judah be a PPV
I don't think it should necessarily be PPV, but I will pay for it, just to watch Mosley make Judah go into his mental turtle shell. I'll pay for this before I pay to watch another Mayweather/DeLaHoya.
Re: Should Mosely vs Judah be a PPV
I think if that fight was for Championship , i agree that they be a PPV because they are a great boxers and that going be a great fight too , but it should not be at PPV........

Re: Should Mosely vs Judah be a PPV
Absolutely not. Zab is not worthy of headlining a PPV fight at this point and Mosley is coming off a loss. For a PPV fight, one of the fighters should hold a belt or at worst be coming off a big win. I like both fighters and Im sure it will be a good fight but there are a lot of good fights on ESPN and those guys fight just as hard and dont even make close to PPV money in their entire careers.
Re: Should Mosely vs Judah be a PPV
Both these guys are gonna want to probably make in the 3-5 Million dollar range and the only way they can make that is by making the fight PPV. I'm not sure the PPV does that well IMO though. HBO would not pay for this type of fight anyway with both guys coming off of losses and both reaching the end of their stardom. Even if they had it in their budget, I don't think they'd pay. HBO has been pretty good this year in having high quality fights on WCB and BAD so I'm not gonna bitch.

It should be a good fight, but it should not be a PPV!
We should cherish this moment Diane, a post where we are in agreement for the first time :)
Yes, you should cherish the moment, because on the few occassions that you agree with me, are the only times that you sound intelligent. ;) :lolhaha:

No fight should be PPV. But this fight promises Action packed rounds
Re: Should Mosely vs Judah be a PPV
I dont know Puya, I think the fight promises 3 action packed rounds at most before Zab malfunctions.
