KT wanted Floyd as early as 2002 but the Showtime HBO thing was the drawback.
I have a friend who has met and has autographs signed in front of him (not bought ) by Ali, Frazier, Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, Gene Tunney, Rocky Graziano, Tony Zale, Tony Galento, SRR, Emile Griffith, Floyd Patterson and Mickey Walker!! He has over 2000 sports autographs all of whom he has met. If anyone knows where Ruben Olivares is, he needs him for his collection!! He will travel to Mexico!
'El Puas' Olivares CAN and WILL be at this Years International Boxing Hall Of Fame weekend in June in Canastota, NY :)
I guarantee it... ;)
I met El Puas at the Great Western Forum in LA

The only thing I could possibly find funnier than that is if Danny Williams has been seen walking out of a bakery with a chocolate eclair ;D
Just one eclair?;D;D;D;D
I'd expect it to be like those alcoholics, brown paper bag full of pastry and scampering off too a quiet corner.

Met him in San Diego as well, in an In-N-Out burger place in Pacific Beach. Nice guy! I thought he slurred juuuuuuuuuuuuuust a little bit, not all the time. When I saw him I thought "HHhhhhm kind of looks like Terri Norris" and as I was making line I saw his tattoo of boxing gloves and I think it also said "Champion" or something. So I just tapped his shoulder in a friendly/respectful way:rolleyes: and greeted him "Terrible Terri Norris...how are you doing?" hand shaked and started talking. We had a good laugh remembering his fights against Santana ;D. Darn it! Didn't have my cameraaaaaaaaa! :-\
My parents met Mike Tyson in Atlanta airport and got me an autograph :) .

I saw Audley Harrison in North London (Seven sisters) outside Tesco. I was going to speak to Audley but I didn't as I can't stand him as a boxer. Can you call him a famous boxer??
