Same with Iron MIke... Oscar made the fight competitive to a degree, but Mayweather clearly won the first and second half of the fight. Oscar couldn't land hardly anything effectively, and Mayweather was countering and peppering Oscar with jabs. I saw Hatton landing better punches than Oscar against Floyd, but at the very end FLoyd gave up his defense and took a huge left hook which I think made his eye swell up so bad. Regardless if people think Mayweather-Oscar II will be a snoozer they definitely have their head up their ass...
Well Teath , i agree in some of your read , but when you say that he will never draw a large crowd until they see him fight , i really don't agree on that , everybody knows Cotto and know what he can do inside the ring that is " Fight " and i don't know how some people can say that he will never draw a large crowd , when the whole world want see those fight , that mean that he can fill up any place of fans and that is a guarantee of how money they could make in those fight , Why they don't give him the chance ? , now Oscar say that his wife don't want him fight any other Puertorican boxer , a fight that could open his horizon , that is not a Cottos fault if any good boxers wont fight him and then everybody keep saying that he isn't in the level like them , in my opinion that is an strategy that try to opaque of how Cotto can show that he is one of the best boxer in the same level..............
Cotto is on the same level as the other guys... that much is very clear. If he hadn't had whatever happened to him against Mosley I felt he would have won that fight by quite a bit, when Cotto was doing what he was doing Mosley was definitely getting the worst of it. Regardless BOXING fans all know COtto can fight, but the general public doesn't know or maybe can even appreciate how good Cotto is. I mean the general crowd knows MOsley is a guy who fought De La Hoya, but not much more than that, and they have maybe heard of Zab Judah, but I bet a lot of people haven't. Those fights are enough to get the fans interested, but until he faces MAyweather or De La Hoya the average joe will have no real reason to watch Cotto because he is polite, he doesn't trash talk his opponents, he won't make Oscar really motivated. I mean Oscar-Forbes wasn't that huge of a fight and Forbes had the contender show behind him. Yet Oscar against Mayorga and Mayweather were big because they pissed Oscar off, and that got other people interested, along with the fact that Mayweather was the p4p champion.

Really? Mayweather just backed up and let Oscar miss but definitely didn't throw much back. Even though Oscar didn't land anything flush, he IMO landed good enough to win the rounds. You can't win rounds by not throwing punches.
I don't want this to get confused by me saying that Floyd lost. I thought Floyd won a somewhat comfortable fight but for the first 6 rounds, De La Hoya put the pressure on.

Cmon Teath , you mean that he have to Disrespect with trash talk like Mayorga did , i know that are a numerous way to sale a fight , but Cotto act like a Pro , Oscar too , i like when Floyd sometimes agitate to his opponents , but my friend he don't need to do that , the whole World really want see and are dispose to pay for see those events , that is an intrigue and anxiety that was created , Mosley is a boxer that i never seen him disrespecting to other Pro boxer and covered the expectations of the events , each boxers have his styles to make promotions and that give much to say , each one have his different way to see the things , but i would be the first one in say if Cotto couldn't motivate to any Boxer to fight ..............;)

Delahoya didn't get cautious in the last few rds...he got tired. He no longer could pull the trigger because his body wouldn't let him. He fought so tight early in the fight and was dead even with Floyd going into the last 3 rds. Then he just hit the wall with fatigue and it was painfully obvious. I thought he blew the fight just as he did in the 1st Mosley fight. If he can box, move and relax like he did in the 2nd Mosley fight...he'll beat Floyd. Reguardless of the decision, Hoya beat Shane in the 2nd fight.

I must say that although we haven't agreed in the last few conversations that this is entirely true...
I thik the second fight will be more exciting then the first which I also thought was good.
Hoya now has Sr. back in his corner and not that overrated mercinary, Freddy Roach... He's working on keeping the jabs over 30 per round and he looked to be in fantastic shape for the Forbes fight. I don't think he looked as good physiology wise for the first fight.
I think Floyd will have more confidence this fight. He looked to be tentitive early in the fight and backed up alot not knowing what kind of power to expect from Oscar... As the fight wor on he looked better and better(probably due to Oscar gassing aswell)
Anyhow, this fight will be better then the first and I thought the first was an interesting, intriquing bout that didn't disappoint(me anyway)

Dela Golden to win the rematch UD. Mayweather couldn't get round the jab in the last fight. That is the key.
IMO he won the first i think it's generally accepted now that mayweather won.It almost seems like everyone thinks he got dominated,fact of the matter he only lost because he stopped pumping the jab.
I think the golden boy will show up in great shape looking extra golden and Jab the fuck outta Mayweather for another close decision..But this time Oscar get's it;D.
