I don't know about all that...The version of Castillo that fought PBF the first time I can not see Hatton beating.The versions of Corrales and Castillo in their first fight is 1 are ones I don't see Hatton beating either

Castillo took the fight having just come off wins against corrales and ngoudjo. Nobody before the fight questioned his desire to be in the ring with hatton it was only after seeing him out classed by a better opponent and stopped through a beaut of a kidney shot that people began coming up with this ridiculous assesment that jose had just suddenly lost the hunger to win the exact same assesment people came to the same conclusion with when he beat tszyu despite the fact hatton walked through kostyas best punches that night.
Hatton can only beat what is ever infront of him and apart from the P4P king he has done that all his career.

Don't speak ill of the dead, please seriously. And many people questioned Castillo's desire to be in the ring during and after the Ngoudjo fight. He took 9 rounds off, certainly showed no desire, even considering the end result would be a shot at Hatton. Castillo's mind is fully cluttered by a lifetime of paying back debt, he has like 500 kids and has to pay the Corrales family for coming in over-weight for their rubber match.Quote:

I disagree, Floyd only won by cheating and the dodgy ref, if Hatton wouldn't have had the point took off then he wouldn't have started rushing in getting tagged so easy, he lost his focus after the point deduction and yet the shot never even landed :rolleyes:Quote:

Part of being a great fighter is mental composure (otherwise Zab would probably be on the P4P lists), Hatton displayed a clear defficiency in that department in the PBF fight. Floyd out-thought Hatton and out-fought him (didn't mean for that to rhyme).Quote:

How would Hatton have beaten PBF? Hatton looked good early, but so have a good deal of Floyd's opponents. Mayweather often starts slow in order to adapt to his opponents style. Hatton is smaller and slower than PBF, with a weaker chin, and he is less able to adapt. In addition to the other inequalities between the fighters; the odds were against him from the beginning.
Have you ever considered that it is Hatton's own fault that he has a reputation for being a dirty, hold and hit fighter? It's not like people developed that notion on their own, Hatton has demonstrated it time and again.
Floyd won by knocking Hatton down with a left-hook and by jumping on him when he was hurt, I'm not sure how that's cheating. Another part of being a complete fighter is knowing what to do when your bell is wrung, something else that Hatton demonstrated he was unable to do. As I've said, I like Hatton, but he's always going to be a step below PBF skill-wise, that's nothing to be ashamed of, so is every other fighter today.
