How the hell can Casamayor be scared of a fighter he already beat? Casamayor has faced Castillo, Corrales, Campbell and Freitas. I don't think he fears anybody. Campbell needs to realize that Casamayor calls the shot. And not him

Yep Casa maybe not scared of Campbell but I think his promoter GBP is... Nate mauling Juan recently is no indication that Nate will have Casa's numbers this time around... Casa and Juan has different fighting styles and has a big gap in terms of experience... Casa-Campbell will be a good close fight that should happen next... for the Ring championship plus 3 legitimate lightweight belts...

GBP derailed this fight by making Casa-JuanDiaz fight for September 13... Another meaningless fight from GBP?

WBO is asking for the Casa-Campbell fight since Casa is WBO's interim lightweight champ... They should make this fight...

You can't believe everything Boxing Rec has. If I sent them an email saying me and you are going to fight, you'll see Violent Demise vs SaddoBoxer posted up on there site by tomorrow (I'll be the 10-1 favorite by the way). Bottom line is that if Casamayor can get more fighting Campbell than Diaz he'll take the Campbell fight. I have no doubt about that.

Shouldnt we be adding amir khan to the equasion here??

guy is now the mandatory challenger to face either casa/campbell and his promoter frank warren has promised amir endless times a world title shot by the end of the year.

That's the way to go if PAC is looking for relatively easier title fights at lightweight... rather than unifying with Nate for the undisputed lightweight title (all 4 belts)

Tho this is really a stretch, I want PAC to jump another division to 140 and fight for another title (if he's very successful against David Diaz)... Achieving "3 titles in 3 different weight division in 1 year" is for PAC's boxing immortality...

140 will be too much for pac.

Sure he`ll win a world title there and become a 3 weight champion - but against the bigger heavier punchers like hatton, torres, ngoudjo he`ll get found out.

135 pac can dominate with his style and aggresion - he wont be able to do that at 140 and will come across the same kind of problem hatton had going up to 147!!

I think he's ready. Although Cambell will obviously want casa first due to a bigger pay day. I think Amir would get the decision though.

Casamayor is the recognized linear champion & if Manny beats him he'll be a legitimate 4 weight linear champion!
